뮬러워터프로덕츠사(Mueller Water Products, Inc.)는 압력관리 솔루션 공급업체인 i2O 워터사(i2O Water, Ltd.)를 약 2천만 달러에 인수했다고 6월 14일 발표했다.

 i2O 워터(i2O Water)는 전 세계 45개국 100여 개 물 업체에 지능형 물망을 공급해 고객이 물망을 계측·분석·제어해 누수를 줄이고 에너지 소비를 줄이며 공급을 개선할 수 있는 솔루션을 제공한다.

2005년에 설립된   i2O 워터(i2O Water)는 영국 사우샘프턴(Southampton)에 본사를 두고 있으며, 말레이시아와 콜롬비아에 본사를 두고 있다. 이 회사는 고급 압력관리(Advanced Pressure Management), 네트워크 분석(Network Analytics), 이벤트 관리(Event Management), 데이터 로깅(Data Logging) 및 iNet 소프트웨어 제품군을 포함한 다양한 시장 선도적인 지능형 물 네트워크 솔루션을 제공한다.

i2O 워터(i2O Water)의 인수는 소프트웨어 오퍼링을 가속화하는 뮬러워터(Mueller Water)의 능력을 향상시킨다. i20의 지능형 네트워크 솔루션은 뮬러워터(Mueller Water)의 디지털 서비스 플랫폼인 Sentryx™와 계량, 누수 감지, 배관 상태 평가 및 수질에 사용되는 기존 뮬러워터(Mueller Water) 기술 지원 제품을 모두 보완한다.

이와 함께 뮬러워터(Mueller Water)는 현재  i2O 워터(i2O Water)가 존재하지 않는 북미 지역에서  i2O 워터(i2O Water)의 제품과 솔루션을 선보일 계획이다.

Mueller Water Products Acquires i2O Water, Ltd.

Acquisition expands and accelerates pressure management solutions and analytics portfolio

Mueller Water Products, Inc. today announced that it has acquired i2O Water, Ltd. (“i2O Water”), a provider of pressure management solutions for approximately $20M in cash.

i2O Water delivers intelligent water networks to more than 100 water companies in over 45 countries around the world to reduce water loss by providing solutions that enable clients to instrument, analyze and control water networks to reduce leakage, lower energy consumption and improve supply. 

Founded in 2005, i2O Water is headquartered in Southampton, UK, with operations in Malaysia and Colombia. The Company provides a range of market-leading intelligent water network solutions including Advanced Pressure Management, Network Analytics, Event Management, Data Logging and the iNet software suite.

The acquisition of i2O Water enhances Mueller’s ability to accelerate its software offerings. i20’s intelligent network solutions are complementary to both Sentryx™, Mueller’s digital services platform, and existing Mueller technology-enabled products used for metering, leak detection, pipe condition assessment and water quality. 

Additionally, Mueller plans to introduce i20’s products and solutions in North America, where i20 currently has no presence.
