[쿠웨이트] KISR, 담수화와 공조 병행 기술 미국서 특허

쿠웨이트 과학연구소(KISR : Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research)는 담수화와 공조(냉방)작업을 병행하는 혁신적인 기술을 개발하여 미국 특허청으로부터 특허를 획득했다.

물연구센터(Researchers at the Water)의 연구원인 하산 압둘라힘(Hasan Abdulraheem) 박사와 만수르 아흐메드(Mansour Ahmed) 박사는 신선한 물과 공기 조절을 제공하는 새로운 기술을 개발했다.

이 새로운 기술은 급격한 온도 상승으로 인해 건조한 기후를 가진 쿠웨이트와 같은 국가에 혜택을 주는 것을 목표로 한다.

KISR(쿠웨이트 과학연구소)는 성명서를 통해 "혁신적인 시스템의 이면에 있는 아이디어는 가열된 물을 사용하여 공기의 습도를 증가시키기 전에 공기와 해수를 모두 가열하는 것"이라고 밝혔다. 그런 다음 공기를 냉각하여 수분을 제거하고 신선한 물과 찬 공기를 생성한다.

The Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) has earned a patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for an innovative technology, which works on desalination and air conditioning simultaneously.

Researchers at the Water Research Centre, Dr Hasan Abdulraheem and Dr Mansour Ahmed have developed a new technology that works to provide fresh water and air coniditioning.

The novel technology aims to benefit countries such as Kuwait, which have dry climates due to a significant rise in temperatures.

The KISR statement added that the idea behind the innovative system is to heat both air and sea water before increasing the humidity of the air using heated water. hen, the air is cooled to remove the moisture and produce fresh water and cold air.

The invention also contributes to improving water security and the sustainability of fresh water production and air conditioning.

In addition, the invention also contributes to reducing the financial and environmental burdens of desalination and air conditioning operations, according to the state-run Kuwait News Agency.
