[중국] NX 필트레이션, 장쑤성‧저장성에 식수 생산 공정 돌입

베이징에 본사를 둔 수처리·하수 재활용 분야의 선도 기업 그린테크(Green Tech Environmental)는 중국 장쑤성과 저장성 지역에 식수 생산을 위한 NX 필트레이션(NX Filtration)의 직접 나노여과(dNF) 멤브레인으로 파일럿 사업을 시작한다고 밝혔다.

 

그린테크는 이번 파일럿 사업에서 고급 수처리를 통한 폐기물의 자원화에 중점을 둘 전망이다. 유럽을 비롯해 중국에서 강, 호수 등의 지표수는 물생산의 원천이지만 지표수에 축적된 오염물질이 점점 증가함에 따라 이를 처리하기는 더욱 어려워지고 있다.

 

NX 필트레이션의 완전 자동화된 멕스퍼트(Mexpert) 파일럿 시스템을 기반으로 한 이번 사업은 장쑤성의 식수생산 시설에서 첫 파일럿에 돌입하며 그 뒤를 이어 저장성에서 두 번째 파일럿 사업이 이루어질 예정이다.

 

데이비드 왕(David Wang) 그린테크 수석 부사장은 “NX 필트레이션의 직접 나노여과 기술을 사용해 의약품, 퍼스널 케어 제품 및 내분비 교란 화합물과 같은 다양한 유기물 및 새로운 미세 오염 물질에 대한 제거 효율을 연구할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

GreenTech starts pilots with NX Filtration for drinking water production in China

 

GreenTech Environmental, a leading company in advanced water treatment and wastewater recycling, headquartered in Beijing, starts a pilot program with NX Filtration’s direct nanofiltration (dNF) membranes for the production of drinking water in the Chinese provinces of JiangSu and Zhejiang.

 

GreenTech Environmental Co. Ltd from Beijing focuses on engineering, construction, operation management and financing for advanced water treatment and waste-to-resources using membrane technologies. Surface water from rivers and lakes is a vital source for water production in China. Similar to European surface waters, the removal of a variety of emerging micropollutants is an increasing challenge. To address this challenge, GreenTech will start a pilot program on surface water treatment with NX Filtration’s dNF technology.

 

In January 2022, the first pilot project, based on NX Filtration’s fully automated Mexpert pilot system, will start at a drinking water production location in the JiangSu Province. In the course of 2022, a second pilot will be initiated for drinking water production in the Zhejiang province.

 

Mr. David Wang, Senior Vice President at GreenTech, explains: “We are very happy to start working with NX Filtration’s direct nanofiltration technology. With the pilot projects we are looking to research the removal efficiency for a variety of organics  and emerging micropollutants, such as pharmaceuticals, personal care products and endocrine-disrupting compounds.”

 

Robert Gerard, sales director at NX adds: “We are proud to deploy our unique direct nanofiltration membranes for GreenTech to produce drinking water from surface water in China. As we control membrane properties on a nanometer level, we have developed a highly effective way of removing contaminations, while containing minerals that are desirable in drinking water. Contrary to other filtration technologies, our direct nanofiltration membranes are capable of treating polluted waters in a simple one-step process, with lower energy usage and avoiding the use of chemicals in pretreatment.”
