Burlington, Ontario, February 22, 2000 – ZENON Environmental Inc. (TSE: ZEN, ZEN.A) announced its entry into one of the largest markets in the world for wastewater treatment. ZENON’s U.K. office has won an order, valued at over $3 million, to supply ZENON’s leading edge ZeeWeed® membrane technology for a municipal sewage plant in the United Kingdom. Construction of the new plant will begin later this year and will be operational in 2001. Once completed, the plant will service a community of 40,000 people.
