Southwest Water to Offer Contract Operations through Joint Venture: Inland Pacific Water

Southwest Water Co. (SWWC) formed a joint venture with Richard Lewis, president of Lewis Operating Corp., to develop water and wastewater-related opportunities in Southern California.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

In a press release Monday, Southwest Water said the venture, called Inland Pacific Water Co., would build and operate water and wastewater facilities, as well as develop water rights and other services.

Southwest Water said Dr. Robb D. Quincey, chief executive of the Inland Empire Utilities Agency, will lead the executive team for Inland Pacific.

Maurice W. Gallarda, vice president, new business development at Southwest Water, will direct the company's involvement with Inland Pacific.

Southwest Water operates and manages water supply and wastewater treatment systems.
