야쿤 인터내셔날 인베스트먼트 앤드 홀딩스(Yakun International Investment and Holding Group, YIHG)은 공개입찰 프로세스를 통해 자회사인 QHY 오세아니아(QHY Environmental Science & Technologies Oceania Limited)는 뉴질랜드 낙농산업의 대표기업인 오픈 컨트리(Open Country Dairy Limited)와 2018년 7월 10일 폐수처리 협력에 관한 양해각서(MOU)를 체결했다.

오픈 컨트리는 프리미엄 전지분유(Whole Milk Powders)의 두 번째로 큰 글로벌 수출국이다. 오픈 컨트리의 낙농제품은 고급 식품 및 음료 생산자가 전 세계에서 자신들의 품질을 중요시한다.

오클랜드에 본사를 두고 있으며, 뉴질랜드 전역에 3곳의 생산시설이 있다. 유제품 농장에서 수집한 약 1억4,600만 리터(L)의 신선한 우유를 사용하여 우유지방, 우유가루, 우유 단백질 및 치즈를 포함하여 매년 약 15만5,000톤의 유제품을 세계에 공급한다.

양해각서에 따라 QHY 오세아니아는 한달 동안 오픈 컨트리의 한 곳에서 하루 500m3의 유입수를 처리할 수 있는 파일럿 폐수처리장(WWTP)을 설치 및 운영을 한다.

WWTP(Wastewater Treatment Plant)는 2018년 9월 말까지 운영될 것으로 예상되며, 시범 운영 기간은 2018년 10월 30일까지 종료될 예정이다. 파일럿 플랜트의 성공은 QHY 오세아니아 및 오픈 컨트리가 구매 계약을 체결하는 기반이 된다. 더 큰 용량의 가공 공장에 적합한다.

Yakun International Investment And Holding Group's New Zealand Subsidiary Enters Into Memorandum Of Understanding With Open Country Dairy Limited

New York, NY /PRNewswire/ - Yakun International Investment and Holding Group ("Yakun International" or the "Company") (YIHG) today announced that through an open bidding process, its controlled subsidiary QHY Environmental Science & Technologies Oceania Limited (the "QHY Oceania") has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding on Wastewater Treatment Cooperation (the "MOU") on July 10, 2018 with Open Country Dairy Limited (the "Open Country"), a representative company of the New Zealand Dairy industry and the second largest global exporter of premium Whole Milk Powders.

Open Country's dairy products are valued for their quality around the world by producers of fine food and beverages. Headquartered in Auckland, it has 3 production locations over New Zealand. It uses around 146 million liters of fresh milk collected from local dairy farms to provide around 155,000 tons of dairy products to the world annually, including milk fats, milk powders, milk proteins and cheeses.

Pursuant to the MOU, QHY Oceania will install and run a pilot wastewater treatment plant ("WWTP") with capacity of treating influent 500 m3 per day in one of Open Country's locations for one month. The WWTP is expected to be operational by the end of September 2018, and the trial run period will end no later than October 30, 2018. Success of the pilot plant shall form a base for QHY Oceania and Open Country to enter into a purchase agreement for a larger capacity processing plant.
