[프랑스] 사토리우스, 노바세프와 멤브레인 크로마토 그래피 시스템 공동개발키로

 

 

프랑스 사토리우스 스테딤 바이오텍(Sartorius Stedim Biotech, SSB)와 프랑스 생명과학회사인 노바세프(Novasep)는 크로마토그래피와 일회용 바이오 프로세싱을 개발하기 위한 협력 계약을 체결했다.

 

노바세프(Novasep)는 생명과학업계에 제품과 특수 기술을 제공하며 수지 기반 배치 및 연속 크로마토 그래피 시스템의 설계, 제조 및 제어에 전문성을 갖춘 시스템 제공 업체이다.

 

노바세프(Novasep)의 BioSC 플랫폼과 사토리우스 스테딤 바이오텍(Sartorius Stedim Biotech, SSB)의 단일 사용 기술은 새로운 멤브레인 크로마토 그래피 시스템의 개발을 위한 기초가 될 것이다.  현재 시장에 나와있는 시스템은 수지용으로 설계되었지만 멤브레인 크로마토 그래피 기능을 최대한 활용하지는 않고 있다.

 

 최적으로 가동되는 멤브레인 크로마토그래피 공정(membrane chromatography systems)은 회분식 및 연속 수지 기반 크로마토그래피에 대한 대안을 제공하며, 높은 생산성, 소규모 작업 및 강도 향상을 제공한다.

 

Novasep의 Process Solutions 사장인 나데게 라보르드(Nadege Laborde)는 “멤브레인 크로마토그래피 어플리케이션을 위해 설계된 시스템은 생명 과학의 상류 및 하류 프로세싱을 위한 완벽한 솔루션을 제공하는 SSB의 글로벌 제품 전략의 일부이다”라면서 "이 협력은 Novasep 및 Sartorius Stedim Biotech에게 두 회사의 핵심 역량을 활용할 수 있는 좋은 기회이다"라고 말했니다.

Sartorius and Novasep collaboration

 

Sartorius Stedim Biotech (SSB) and French life science company Novasep have entered into a collaboration agreement to develop chromatography and single-use bioprocessing.

 

Novasep provides products and specialised technology to the life science industry and is a system provider with expertise in the design, manufacture and control of resin-based batch and continuous chromatography systems.

 

Novasep’s BioSC platform and SSB’s single use technology will form the basis for the development of new membrane chromatography systems. Systems currently on the market are designed for resins, but do not take full advantage of membrane chromatography capabilities.

 

Optimally-run membrane chromatography processes provide an alternative to batch and continuous resin-based chromatography which, the company says, offers higher productivity, smaller scale operations and increased strength.

 

Systems designed for membrane chromatography applications are a part of SSB’s global product strategy to supply complete solutions for upstream and downstream processing in life sciences. Nadege Laborde, president of Process Solutions at Novasep, commented: “This collaboration is a wonderful opportunity for Novasep and Sartorius Stedim Biotech, as it leverages the core capabilities of the two companies.”
