[호주] 클린테큐워터,  퀸즐랜드-오만서 2건의 정수처리시설 수주

클린테큐워터(Clean TeQ Water)는 호주 퀸즐랜드(Queensland)와 중동 오만에서 2건의 정수처리시설 계약을 추가로 수주했다.

클린테큐워터(Clean TeQ Water)의 전무이사 겸 CEO인 샘 리갈(Sam Riggall)은 "우리의 워터 비즈니스는 지난 1년 동안 달성한 성공을 바탕으로 지속적으로 성장하고 있다. 다양한 애플리케이션에서 매우 효과적인 독점 정수 시스템을 설계, 구축 및 시운전할 수 있는 역량을 입증한 결과, 이제 매출 성장으로 초점이 옮겨지고 있다"라고 말했다.

■ 호주 = 클린테큐워터(Clean TeQ Water)는 경쟁 입찰을 따냈고 퀸즐랜드의 맥케이(Mackay) 근처에 있는 코우말라(Koumala)에 있는 보어 정수처리 플랜트(bore water treatment plant)를 업그레이드하기 위해 맥케이 지역위원회(Mackay Regional Council)에서 200만 달러 이상의 가치를 지닌 계약을 체결했다.

클린테큐워터(Clean TeQ Water)는 ASX : CLQ 2 기존 보어 급수(bore water supply)의 경도를 제거하고 염도를 낮추기 위해 이온 교환 처리 플랜트(ion exchange treatment plant)와 패키지 가스 염소처리 시스템(package gas chlorination system)을 설계, 공급 및 설치하여 파이프의 스케일링을 줄이고 퀸즐랜드 코말라(Koumala)의 음용수 공급에 사용되는 맛을 개선한다.

클린테큐워터(Clean TeQ Water)는 토목공사의 하도급을 포함하여 플랜트의 전체 설계, 조달, 시공 및 시운전 업무를 관리한다. 작업 프로그램은 2021년 1분기부터 시작하여 올해 말까지 진행될 예정이다.

■ 오만 = 2019년 말 클린테큐워터(Clean TeQ Water)는 오만에서 획기적인 CIF(Continuous Ionic Filteration ; 연속이온여과) 플랜트의 시운전 및 인도를 고객이 성공적으로 수락했다고 발표했다.

클린테큐워터(Clean TeQ Water)는 아프리카의 판매 및 배송 파트너인 멀토텍(Multotec)이 오만 소재 안티몬(antimony) 처리 시설에서 폐수처리 시스템을 제공하는 설계, 조달 및 건설 계약을 체결했다.

클린테큐워터(Clean TeQ Water) 설계 및 공급된 정수처리시설은 당사의 DEALX(2단계 CIF) 기술, 화학 강수량 및 역삼투법으로 구성되어 있어 현장에서 재사용할 수 있도록 공정수를 현장에서 재사용할 수 있도록 재활용한다.

이 정수장은 하루에 200톤㎥의 폐수에서 다양한 유해물질을 제거하도록 설계되었다. 폐기물을 처리함으로써 고객은 처리장에서 폐기하지 않고 물을 재활용하여 재사용할 수 있다.

이는 물이 상대적으로 부족한 지리적 위치에서 고객에게 귀중한 비용 절감 효과를 제공한다. 물을 재활용하는 것은 또한 폐기물의 양을 현저히 줄임으로써 환경적인 이익을 낳는데, 그렇지 않으면 폐기되어야 한다.

이 처리장은 안티몬, 비소 및 경도를 제거하기 위한 여러 강수 단계로 구성되어 있으며, 클린테큐워터(Clean TeQ Water)의 독점적인 DEALX(CHE 2단계) 기술 시스템을 통해 칼슘과 황산 마그네슘을 추출하고 나머지 중금속을 추출한 다음 역삼투압을 통해 물을 담수화하여 재사용할 수 있도록 준비한다.

클린테큐워터(Clean TeQ Water)는 이 정수장 업그레이드에 대한 상세설계를 맡기로 계약을 체결했다. 상류 안티몬 처리 시설의 변화로 인해 염분 부하가 증가하고 폐수 내 비소, 안티몬 및 셀레늄 농도가 증가했다.

업그레이드에서는 폐수를 중화시키고 오염물질을 침전시켜 보다 쉽게 복구할 수 있도록 하는 것은 물론 클린테큐워터(Clean TeQ Water)의 CIF® 기술을 사용하여 기존 이온 교환 회로를 업그레이드하고 복구를 극대화하고 폐기용 염분을 줄이기 위해 역삼투압 시설에 대한 추가 전처리 기능을 추가하는 데 초점을 맞출 예정이다.

Clean TeQ Water awarded two new water purification contracts

Clean TeQ Water has been awarded two additional water purification contracts in Queensland and Oman.

Clean TeQ Managing Director and CEO, Sam Riggall, stated, “Our Water Business continues to build on the successes achieved over the past year.

Having demonstrated our capability in designing, constructing and commissioning our highly effective proprietary water purification systems in a range of different applications, our focus is now shifting towards revenue growth.”

■ Astralia = Clean TeQ has won a competitive tender and been awarded a contract which is valued at over $2 million by Mackay Regional Council for the upgrade of a bore water treatment plant at Koumala, near Mackay in Queensland.

Clean TeQ will design, supply, and install an ion exchange treatment plant plus a package gas chlorination system to remove hardness and lower the salinity of an ASX:CLQ 2 existing bore water supply to reduce the scaling of pipes and improve taste for use in the potable water supply of Koumala, Queensland.

Clean TeQ will manage the full design, procurement, construction and commissioning of the plant including subcontracting of civil works. The program of works is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of CY2021 and run through to the end of the year.

Clean TeQ was engaged by Multotec, the Company’s sales and delivery partner in Africa, under a design, procure and construct contract to deliver a waste water treatment system at an antimony processing facility in Oman.

The Clean TeQ designed and supplied water treatment plant comprises the Company’s DESALX® (two-stage CIF®) technology, chemical precipitation and reverse osmosis to recycle process water for re-use on site.

The water treatment plant is designed to remove a range of deleterious elements from up to 200 tons of waste water per day.

By treating the waste, the customer is able to recycle a significant proportion of the water for re-use in their processing plant, rather than disposing of it.

This provides a valuable cost saving for the customer in a geographic location where water is relatively scarce. Recycling the water also results in environmental benefits by significantly reducing the volume of waste which would otherwise need to be disposed.

The plant consists of a number of precipitation steps to remove antimony, arsenic and hardness, followed by Clean TeQ’s proprietary DESALX® (two-stage CIF®) technology system to extract calcium and magnesium sulphate plus any remaining heavy metals, followed by reverse osmosis to desalinate the water and prepare it for re-use.

Clean TeQ has been awarded a contract to undertake the detailed design for an upgrade of this water treatment plant.

Changes in the upstream antimony processing facility have resulted in a higher salt load and increased arsenic, antimony and selenium concentrations in the waste water.

The upgrade will focus on neutralising the waste liquors and precipitating contaminants for easier recovery, as well as upgrading the existing ion exchange circuit using Clean TeQ’s CIF® technology and adding additional pre-treatment for the reverse osmosis plant in order to maximise recovery and generate reduced brine for disposal.
