[캐나다] H2O 이노베이션, 78억원 규모 상하수도 프로젝트 3건 수주

H2O이노베이션(H2O Innovation Inc.)은 자사의 WTS(Water Technologies & Services) 사업 라인이 최근 총 78억 원(790만 캐나다달러) 규모의  용수 및 하·폐수 처리 프로젝트를 3건을 수주했다고 발표했다. 총 78억 원(790만 캐나다달러)의 가치가 있는 이 새로운 계약으로 WTS 백로그는 4천40만 달러에 이른다.

첫 번째 프로젝트는 텍사스주 조지타운에서 초여과(UF)를 사용하는 시립 식수 시스템의 교체와 관련된 것으로, H2O이노베이션은 3.6MGD(1만3천627㎥/일) 시스템 계약을 따내기 위한시범사업은 지난해 겨울 성공적으로 마무리했다.

다른 제조사가 공급했던 초기 시스템은 막 모듈 교체 측면에서 시가 요구하는 호한성이 부족했다. H2O 이노베이션의 개방형 플랫폼 FiberFlexTM 기술은 이 프로젝트를 수행할 수 있는 기회를 확보했다.

두 번째 프로젝트는 위스콘신에 위치한 산업 고객에게 보일러 보충수를 공급하는 더블패스 역삼투(RO) 시스템이다. H2O이노베이션은 매우 빡빡한 일정 내에 설치를 납품할 수 있는 능력으로 이번 계약을 따냈다.

마지막 프로젝트는 텍사스의 산업 고객을 위한 27만6천 GPD (1천45㎥/일) 용량의 멤브레인 바이오리액터(MBR) 시스템으로 구성되어 있다.

H2O 이노베이션의 최고 전략 책임자인 그레고리 메이든(Gregory Madden)은 "이러한 프로젝트들은 양질의 도시 및 산업 프로젝트를 크게 다각화하면서 성장함에 따라 전략 계획에 설명된 목표에 초점을 맞추고 있음을 보여준다. 이를 통해 WTS 팀은 엔지니어링 전문 지식과 FiberFlexTM 유연한 접근 방식과 같은 고유한 설계를 채택하고 모든 종류의 애플리케이션(폐수, 물 재사용 등)에 대한 완벽한 솔루션을 고객에게 제공할 수 있다. 지난 몇 년 동안 팀이 정말로 변화했고, 이로 인해 최근 이러한 성공이 이루어졌다"라고 말했다.

H2O Innovation Wins $7.9 M of New Water and Wastewater Projects

H2O Innovation Inc. (“H2O Innovation” or the “Corporation”) is pleased to announce that its Water Technologies & Services (WTS) business line has recently been awarded three new water and wastewater treatment projects. These new contracts, with a total value of $7.9 M, bring the WTS backlog to $40.4 M.

The first project awarded to the Corporation involves the replacement of a municipal drinking water system that uses ultrafiltration (UF) in the city of Georgetown, Texas. The pilot project was successfully completed last winter, which positioned H2O Innovation to obtain the contract for the 3.6 MGD (13,627 m3/d) system thereafter. 

The initial system, which had been supplied by another manufacturer, lacked the flexibility that the city required in terms of membrane module replacement. H2O Innovation’s open-platform FiberFlexTM technology secured the Corporation the opportunity to carry out the project.

The second project is a double-pass reverse osmosis (RO) system to supply boiler make-up water to an industrial customer located in Wisconsin. The Corporation won this contract due to its ability to deliver the installation within a very tight schedule.

Finally, the last project awarded to H2O Innovation consists of a membrane bioreactor (MBR) system with a capacity of 276,000 GPD (1,045 m3/d) for an industrial client in Texas.

The team has really transformed over the past few years, which has led to these recent successes,” stated Gregory Madden, Chief Strategy Officer of H2O Innovation.
