[스페인] 악시오나, 포르투갈서 1천200만 유로 규모 상수도 공급 시스템 계약

포르투갈서 가장 큰 하루 62만5천㎥ 생산용량의 아시세이라 정수장 개선공사 수주

스페인의 글로벌 물기업인 악시오나(ACCIONA)는 총 가치가 1천200만 유로(166억 원) 이상인 상수도 공급 시스템 프로젝트를 수주함으로써 포르투갈의 수처리 시장에서 입지를 공고히 하고 있다.

재정적 측면에서 가장 큰 계약은 아구아스 두 알가르브(Aguas do Algarve)가 10개의 배수 지점에 식수를 공급하는 것을 포함하는 룰레(Loule) 지역의 물 배수 시스템(water distribution system) 확장을 위한 것이다. 483만 유로(약 67억 원)의 가치가 있는 이 프로젝트는 카마초 엔겐하리아(Camacho Engenharia)와 합작 투자하여 수행된다.

엠프레사 포르투게사 다스 아구아스 리브레스(Empresa Portuguesa das Aguas Livres ; EPAL)에 대한 또 다른 계약에서 ACCIONA는 258만 유로(약 36억 원) 계약에 따라 300만 명 이상의 인구에 공급하기 위해 포르투갈에서 가장 큰 정수장인 아시세이라 정수장(Asseiceira DWTP)을 업그레이드한다. DWTP(drinking water treatment plant)는 하루 처리 용량이 62만5천㎥이며 포르투갈 인구의 3분의 1에 해당하는 리스본 지역에 가장 많은 양의 물을 공급하게 된다.

ACCIONA는 동부 지역 대부분의 인구에게 물을 공급할 목적으로 오델리테(Odeleite) 저수지에서 벨리체(Beliche)로 물을 끌어올리는 시스템에 대해 아구아스 두 알가르브(Aguas do Algarve)와 2천430만 유로(약 336억 원)에 또 다른 계약을 체결했다. ACCIONA는 또한 수처리 공정의 최적화를 위해 아구아스 두 알가르브와 1년 기술 지원 계약을 체결했다.

ACCIONA는 특히, 아구아스 푸블리카스 두 알렌테호(Aguas Publicas do Alentejo)와 알비토 정수장(Alvito DWTP) 개선 및 업데이트를 위해 226만 유로(약 31억 2천만 원)에 계약을 체결했다.

포르투갈은 ACCIONA가 70개 이상의 프로젝트를 개발한 첫 번째 국제시장 중 하나이다. 여기에는 풍력 및 태양광 발전의 소유 자산뿐만 아니라 모든 종류의 기반시설 프로젝트가 포함된다.

ACCIONA는  에스타시온 데 오리엔테(Estacion de Oriente), 인판테 돈 앙리케(Infante Don Henrique) 다리, 올량(Olhao)의 마리나 또는 알케바(Alqueva) 댐과 같은 국가의 상징적인 프로젝트 건설에 참여했다. 

ACCIONA는 지금까지 포루투갈에서 30개 이상의 하·폐수 처리장 및 정수장을 건설했다. 예를 들면 포르티망(Portimao) 근처의 콤파헤이라(Companheira)에 있는 하수처리장이나 알가르브(Algarve)에 위치한 알칸타릴하(Alcantarilha) 정수장이 있다.

ACCIONA makes progress with a series of water treatment contracts in Portugal

Leadership: ACCIONA has built more than thirty wastewater and drinking water treatment plants in the country

ACCIONA has consolidated its presence in the water treatment market in Portugal with the award of a series of contracts for an overall value of more than €12 million.

The biggest contract in financial terms is the one for Aguas do Algarve for the expansion of the water distribution system in the locality of Loule, which involves taking drinking water to ten distribution points. The project, valued at €4.83 million, will be carried out in a joint venture with the company Camacho Engenharia.

In another contract for Empresa Portuguesa das Aguas Livres (EPAL) ACCIONA will upgrade the Asseiceira DWTP, the biggest drinking water treatment plant in Portugal, to supply a population of over 3 million people under a €2.58 million contract. 

The DWTP has a daily treatment capacity of 625,000 m3 and provides the biggest amount of water to the Lisbon region, i.e. equivalent to one-third of the population of Portugal.

The company has been awarded another contract -for €2,43 million- with Aguas do Algarve for the system to raise water from the Odeleite reservoir to the one at Beliche, with the aim of supplying water to most of the population of the eastern part of the Algarve. ACCIONA has also signed a one-year technical assistance contract with Aguas do Algarve for the optimization of the water treatment process.

The company has also signed a contract with Aguas Publicas do Alentejo for the improvement and updating of the Alvito DWTP for €2.26 million.

LONG-STANDING EXPERIENCE

Portugal was one of ACCIONA’s first international markets, where it has developed more than 70 projects. These including infrastructure projects of all kinds as well as owned assets in wind and photovoltaic power.

ACCIONA has participated in the construction of emblematic projects in the country such as the Estacion de Oriente, the Infante Don Henrique bridge, the marina at Olhao or the Alqueva dam. 

In the water sector it has built more than thirty wastewater treatment and drinking water plants. Examples are the Wastewater Treatment Plant at Companheira, near Portimao, or the Alcantarilha drinking water plant, both located in the Algarve.
