[스페인] GS 이니마 컨소시엄, 아타카마 담수플랜트 계약 체결

스페인의 GS 이니마(GS Inima)와 칠레의 클라로 비쿠냐 발렌주엘라(Claro Vicuna Valenzuela) 컨소시엄이 칠레의 아타카마(Atacama)에 있는 담수화 플랜트에 대한 엔지니어링·시공 계약을 체결했다.

이 두 기업은 국제 및 현지 기업으로 구성된 8명의 입찰자들과의 경쟁을 뚫고 7천300만 달러의 계약을 맺었다.

국영 유틸리티 기업인 에콘사(Econssa)와의 계약으로 2년간 시공을 맡으며, 2020년 초 운영을 시작할 예정이다.

해수 역삼투 플랜트는 최종 최대 용량이 10만4천㎥/일일 것으로 예상되며 아타카마 인구의 70%에 급수를 제공한다.

GS Inima and Claro Vicuna win Atacama desalination plant contract

A consortium of Spain's GS Inima and Claro Vicuna Valenzuela of Chile have won the engineering and construction contract for a desalination plant in Atacama, Chile, reports Diaro Finaciero.

The pair beat competition for the reportedly $73 million contract from eight other bidders, made up of international and local companies.

The contract with state-owned utility Econssa provides for two years of construction and an operational start date of early 2020.

The seawater reverse osmosis plant is expected to have an eventual maximum capacity of 104,000 m3/d, and will serve 70 percent of the population of Atacama.
