[미국] 루스코, 필터 카트리지 제품라인 확장

루스코(Rusco)는 탄소 블록(carbon block), 주름형 및 멜트 블로운(스펀) 미디어 등 새로운 필터 카트리지 3개를 추가해 제품 포트폴리오를 확장한다고 발표했다. 이번 제품라인 확장은 퇴적물 제거 기능을 향상시키고 기업 역사상 최초로 화학물질 오염 문제를 해결하기 위해 적용 범위를 넓혔다는 데 의의가 있다.

마이클 클럼프(Michael Klump) 루스코 사장은 “우리의 주요 목표는 수처리 요구 사항의 전체 스펙트럼을 충족하는 효과적인 솔루션을 제공하는 것이다”라며 “새로운 카트리지를 통해 고객들은 시간이 지날수록 기기를 손상시키는 전처리 중 모래알부터 비소, 납과 같은 보이지 않는 화학물질에 이르기까지 모든 것에 대해 우리를 신뢰할 수 있다. 우리는 이제 가장 엄격한 수질 조건을 여과하기 위해 결합될 수 있는 완전한 여과 제품 라인을 제공하게 된 것을 기쁘게 생각한다”고 말했다.

기존 제품은 15미크론(μm) 용량으로 제한된 메쉬 필터를 제공했지만 최신 제품인 스펀 및 주름형 필터 카트리지는 구성, 표면적 및 기공 크기의 발전을 통해 침전물 제거 효율을 1미크론까지 낮춘다. 10미크론의 속도로 작동하는 활성탄 유닛은 맛과 냄새, 납과 염소, 휘발성 유기 화합물(VOC) 및 화학 물질을 포함하여 기존 제품이 다루지 않는 영역을 다룬다.

루스코는 이제 6가지 유형의 고품질 필터 카트리지의 포괄적인 라인업을 제공할 예정이다. 각각은 청소 또는 교체시기를 쉽게 식별할 수 있는 하우징으로 잘 알려진 루스코 스핀 다운(Rusco Spin-Down) 및 세디먼트 트래퍼(Sediment Trapper) 필터 장치를 포함 기존 필터와 호환된다. 사용자는 지난달 공개된 루스코 스마트 볼 밸브와 필터를 결합해 효율성을 극대화할 수 있다. 모든 카트리지 및 액세서리는 전국 대리점 네트워크를 통해 제공된다.

클럼프 사장은 “이번 발표는 올해 두 번째로 중요한 발표이며 2022년에도 그 기세를 이어가게 된 것을 기쁘게 생각한다”면서 “우리 팀은 매년 세계에서 가장 신뢰받는 여과 제품을 제공하게 된 것을 영광으로 생각한다”라고 덧붙였다.

Rusco expands product line with three new filter cartridges

Rusco has announced the expansion to its product portfolio with three new filter cartridges, including a carbon block, pleated and melt blown (spun) media.

The new cartridges from Rusco will enhance sediment removal capabilities and widen applications to address chemical contamination concerns.

Previously offering mesh filters limited to a 15-micron (μm) capacity, the latest installment of spun and pleated filter cartridges improves sediment removal efficiency to as low as one micron through advancements in composition, surface area and pore size. The activated carbon units, which operate at a rate of 10 microns, address areas not covered by existing products, including: taste and odor, lead and chlorine, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and chemicals.

A comprehensive lineup of six different types of high quality filter cartridges will now be offered by the company. Each is compatible with our existing filters to include the Rusco Spin-Down and Sediment Trapper filter units, well-known for their clear housing that makes it easy to identify when it’s time to clean or replace.

Users can maximize efficiency by pairing filters with the Rusco Smart Ball Valve unveiled last month, which automatically flushes filtration systems with a voice command using existing home automation or simple click of a button via smart device. All cartridges and accessories are made available through a nationwide network of distributors.
