[영국] 아마존, 밀폐형 이동식 여과 시스템 사례 연구

Amazon 필터 제조사인 Amazon Filters는 SupaSpun II 여과기술을 사용하여 시추공 수처리를 위한 밀폐형 이동식 여과 시스템의 개발 및 공급을 설명하는 사례 연구를 발표했다.

DWI 규정 31 준수 여과 시스템은 음용수 공급의 품질을 보장하기 위해 주요 시립 수도공급업체에 공급되었다.

시추공 현장의 핵심 쟁점 중 하나는 제한된 접근성과 물리적 공간이었다. Amazon Filters의 맞춤식 솔루션은 현장에 한 번 설치하면 시스템에 쉽게 연결될 수 있는 소형이지만 완벽한 기능의 밀폐형 모바일 여과 장치를 설계하는 것이었다. 이 장치는 하루에 150만∼500만 리터(L)를 처리할 수 있다.

아마존 필터는 9개의 시추공 현장에서 수질을 보장하기에 충분한 덮개를 제공하기 위해 파이프 연결 및 차단 밸브가 연결된 4개의 밀폐형 모바일 여과장치를 공급하도록 되어 있다. 

밀폐된 여과장치의 하우징은 40인치 ‘SupaSpun II R31’ 카트리지를 사용하도록 설계되었으며, 현장에서 작동할 때 안전성과 편의성을 보장하고 시스템 설치에 필요한 엔지니어링을 최소화하기 위해 내부 조명 및 난방장치도 장착되었다.

Amazon mobile filtration case study

UK filter designer and manufacturer, Amazon Filters, has published a case study describing the development and supply of an enclosed mobile filtration system for borehole water treatment using its SupaSpun II filtration technology.
 

The DWI Regulation 31 compliant filtration system was supplied to a major municipal water supplier to ensure the quality of its drinking water supply.

One of the key issues at the borehole sites was limited accessibility and physical space. Amazon Filters’ bespoke solution was to design compact, yet fully functional enclosed mobile filtration units that once on site could be easily connected to the system and used immediately to treat and ensure the quality of a water supply flow requirement of 1.5∼5 million litres per day.

 To provide sufficient cover to ensure the water quality at nine borehole sites, Amazon Filters was commissioned to supply four enclosed mobile filtration units with interconnecting pipework and isolating valves. The housings for the enclosed filtration units were designed to take 40-inch SupaSpun II R31 cartridges and were also fitted with internal lighting and heating to help ensure safety and convenience when operated on site and minimise any engineering required to install the system.
