열 에너지 스토리지(TES) 시스템을 제공하는 청정 에너지 기업인 브렌밀러(Brenmiller Energy)는 23일(현지시간) 유럽 재생 에너지 개발업체인 그린 에네시스(Green Enesys), 브리디(Viridi)와 스페인에 새로운 합작법인(JV)을 설립하기 위한 텀시트(Term Sheet)를 체결했다고 발표했다.

새로운 합작법인은 스페인, 독일, 프랑스를 시작으로 서비스형 에너지(EaaS) 비즈니스 모델을 통해 bGen™과 최근 공개된 bGen™ ZERO 등 브렌밀러의 제품을 납품할 예정이다. 합작법인에 따라 브렌밀러는 모든 지적 재산을 유지하고, 유럽 투자은행(European Investment Bank)이 자금을 조달하는 브렌밀러의 기가팩토리(Gigafactory)에서 스페인, 독일, 프랑스 내 합작법인 프로젝트를 위해 모든 bGen™ 모듈을 제조한다. 합작법인 설립 및 활동은 최종 계약의 협상 및 이행을 조건으로 한다.

브렌밀러는 또 "브렌밀러의 경영진은 20년 전 스페인이 세계에서 두 번째로 태양열 온수 시스템 설치를 의무화한 국가로 자리매김했을 때 스페인의 태양열 산업을 시작하도록 돕는 데 핵심 역할을 했다"며 "우리는 그 이후로 재생 가능한 열 발전을 계속 추진해왔고, 이제 유럽의 산업 제조 부문에 고온 전기 열 전달을 가속화하고자 노력할 것"이라고 밝혔다.

The new entity will deliver Brenmiller’s products, including the bGen™ and recently unveiled bGen™ ZERO, through an Energy as a Service (EaaS) business model, beginning in Spain, Germany, and France. Under the JV, Brenmiller will maintain all of its intellectual property and will manufacture all bGen™ modules for the JV’s projects in Spain, Germany and France at Brenmiller’s gigafactory in Israel, which is financed by the European Investment Bank. Establishing the JV and the activities contemplated by the JV are subject to negotiating and execution of definitive agreements.
