[캐나다] 사이퍼 뉴트론, 대만의 블레이드 하이드로젠(BH)로부터 AEM 전기분해 기술 수주

 

AEM 녹색 전해조(Green Electrolyser) 개발 파트너인 다이나서트(dynaCERT)와 사이퍼 뉴트론(Cipher Neutron Inc, CN)은 사이퍼 뉴트론이 블레이드 하이드로젠(Blade Hydrogen)으로부터 10kW(킬로와트) AEM 녹색 전해조 스택에 대한 초기 구매 주문을 받았다고 밝혔다.

지난 2월 17일부터 시작된 다이나서트와 사이퍼 뉴트론의 협업 계약에 따라 AEM 그린 수소 전해조 스택은 토론토에 있는 다이나서트의 생산 시설에서 제조될 예정이다.

블레이드 하이드로젠 

블레이드 하이드로젠(Blade Hydrogen)은 대만의 연료 전지 제조 및 개발 전문 회사이며, 대만 산업 기술 연구소(ITRI)의 연료 전지 개발 부서의 자회사이다. ITRI는 2050년까지 탄소 배출 제로를 달성한다는 국가의 목표에 따라 2022년에 대만에서 수소 에너지 적용을 위한 기술 개발 계획을 발표했다.

블레이드 하이드로젠은 대만에서 그린 수소를 생산하기 위해 전기 분해의 중요성을 수년 동안 주장해 왔다. 블레이드 하이드로젠은 그린 수소에 대한 풍부한 시스템 통합 경험으로 그린 수소 전해조 개발 기술을 가진 사이퍼 뉴트론과 긴밀한 협력 관계를 유지할 것이라고 밝혔다.

대만의 수소 전해조 시장

대만 정부는 수소 에너지, 특히 산업에서 발생하는 탄소 배출량을 줄일 수 있는 그린 수소를 중요하게 생각했다. 앞으로 대만에서는 화력 발전소, 철강 산업, 반도체 및 친환경 자동차 응용 분야에 그린 수소의 적용이 빠르게 촉진될 전망이다.

10kW AEM 전해조 스택을 성공적으로 구현한 후 후속 조치

블레이드 하이드로젠은 사이퍼 뉴트론에서 공급하는 초기 10kW(킬로와트) AEM 그린 수소 전해조 시스템을 성공적으로 구현한 후 mW(메가와트) 용량의 후속 구매를 할 예정이다. 이 초기 10kW 시스템은 고정식 발전용으로 대만의 프로젝트에 사용될 예정이다.

마크 린(Mark Lin) 블레이드 수소 부사장은 “사이퍼 뉴트론의 AEM 기술은 대만 전역에서 진행 중인 프로젝트와 완벽하게 부합하다. 대만과 전 세계의 보다 친환경적이고 지속 가능한 미래를 위해 과불화화합물(PFAS) 및 PGM이 없는 AEM 전해조 기술을 출시하게 돼 기쁘다"며 "100kW 및 250kW AEM 전해조를 포함해 사이퍼 뉴트론에서 곧 출시될 제품은 국제 수소 경제의 판도를 바꿀 것이며, 우리는 이 전환 기간의 일부가 된 것을 자랑스럽게 생각한다"고 말했다.

구르잔트 란다와(Gurjant Randhawa) 사이퍼 뉴트론의 사장 겸 CEO는 "진행 중인 그린 수소 프로젝트에 대해 블레이드 하이드로젠과 협력하게 돼 매우 기쁘다”며 “블레이드 하이드로젠 팀은 그린 수소 전문가이며 전 세계적으로 여러 프로젝트를 성공적으로 완료했다. 블레이드 하이드로젠이 그린 수소 및 연료 전지 채택에 앞장서고 있는 것을 높이 평가한다"고 말했다.

짐 페인(Jim Payne) 다이나서트의 사장 겸 CEO는 “사이퍼 뉴트론의 지속적인 발전을 보게 되어 기쁘고, 블레이드 하이드로젠을 고객으로 맞이하게 돼 기쁘다”며 캐나다에 있는 당사의 반자동 조립 공장은 AEM 그린 전해조 제조에 적합하며, 운송 및 재고 관리 시스템, 전담 인력이 사이퍼 뉴트론의 구매 주문을 신속하게 처리할 수 있도록 지원할 준비가 돼 있다"고 말했다.

Cipher Neutron, dynaCERT’s Partner, Receives Purchase Order from Blade Hydrogen in Taiwan for its AEM Electrolysis Technology

 

dynaCERT Inc. ("dynaCERT" or the "Company") and its AEM Green Electrolyser partner, Cipher Neutron Inc. ("Cipher Neutron", “CN”) are pleased to jointly announce that Cipher Neutron has received an initial purchase order from Blade Hydrogen Technology Co. (“Blade Hydrogen) for a 10-Kilowatt AEM Green Hydrogen Electrolyser stack.

The AEM Green Hydrogen Electrolyser stack will be manufactured in dynaCERT’s production facilities in Toronto pursuant to the Collaboration Agreement between dynaCERT and Cipher Neutron dated February 17, 2023. In addition to having options to purchase up to the current 50% of equity in Cipher Neutron, dynaCERT also owns half of the AEM Green Electrolyser technology that is being developed by Cipher Neutron.

 Blade Hydrogen is a dedicated fuel cell manufacturing and development company in Taiwan and is a spin-off of the fuel cell development department of the Industrial Technology Research Institute (“ITRI”) of Taiwan. Follow Up After Successful implementation of 10 kW AEM Electrolyser Stack

Blade Hydrogen expects to place a follow up purchase order of Megawatt capacity after the successful implementation of an initial 10-Kilowatt AEM Green Hydrogen Electrolyser system supplied by Cipher Neutron. This initial 10-Kilowatt system will be used for a project in Taiwan for stationary power generation use.
