신재생 에너지 프로젝트 위한 4만㎢ 규모 토지 할당 검토

이집트 국가정보서비스(State Information Service)에 따르면 지난 3월 31일 모스타파 마드불리(Mostafa Madbouli) 이집트 총리는 나세르 파우지(Nasser Fawzi) 국가토지이용계획센터(National Center for Planning State Land Use) 소장과 함께 이집트의 에너지 부문 발전을 위한 몇 가지 주요 프로젝트를 심의했다.

회의에서 파우지는 2022년부터 현재까지 진행 중인 녹색 수소 생산 프로젝트뿐만 아니라 전기 및 신재생 에너지 분야의 다양한 프로젝트를 실행하기 위한 ‘토지 할당 계획’을 발표했다. 

특히, 양측은 신재생 에너지 분야의 프로젝트를 구현하기 위해 약 4만㎢의 토지 할당을 검토했다. 나일강(Nile) 동쪽과 서쪽에 위치한 4개 부지와 소하그(Sohag)와 아스완(Aswan)의 서쪽에 위치한 6개의 추가 부지가 이러한 벤처 사업을 위해 할당됐다.

또한, 자파라나(Zafarana)에 글로벌 녹색 정보 센터(Global Green Information Center)와 태양광 발전소(Solar Energy Station)를 설립하는 데 대한 논의를 진행했으며, 라스 가리브(Ras Gharib)와 후르가다(Hurghada)에서 녹색 수소를 생산하는 프로젝트 실행 계획과 케나(Qena)의 나가 함마디(Naga Hammadi)에 배터리 저장 시스템을 갖춘 태양광 발전소 개발 계획을 면밀히 검토했다.

Madbouli follows up energy, green hydrogen projects

 

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli Sunday met with head of the National Center for Planning State Land Use Nasser Fawzi, to review a number of projects.

Fawzi presented allocating land to implement projects in the field of electricity and new and renewable energy, as well as green hydrogen production projects from 2022 until now.

He reviewed allocation of an area of up to 40 thousand square kilometers to implement projects in the fields of new and renewable energy; 4 plots east and west of the Nile, 6 plots west of Sohag and Aswan.

They followed up establishment of a global green information center and solar energy station in Zafarana, the establishment of projects to produce green hydrogen in Ras Gharib, Hurghada, and a solar energy station with a battery storage system in Naga Hammadi, Qena.
