국방·기밀·사이버안전 분야 전문의 기술 주도적 엔지니어링 서비스 기업인 Parsons가 지난 13일 최첨단 사이버 솔루션 센터(CSC)의 개청을 발표했다. 버지니아주 센터빌에 위차한 이 독특한 시설은 Parsons의 사이버 중대 인프라 보호 계획의 주요 구성요소이다.

 

 

 

Parsons, a technology-driven engineering services firm with expertise in defense, intelligence and cybersecurity, has announced that it opened its new, state-of-the-art Cyber Solutions Center (CSC) on Friday, March 13. Located in Parson's Centreville, Va., office, the unique facility is a key component of the company's Cyber Critical Infrastructure Protection Initiative.

 

The CSC enables the company to emulate customer architectures, security vulnerabilities and risk posture and provide testing and demonstrations to enhance and protect the security of customer operating environments for the water and wastewater industry, among several other sectors.

 

Parsons' hands-on laboratory provides the ability to demonstrate and analyze the operational technology networks, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems and industrial control systems (ICS) that control water and wastewater, as well as critical infrastructure, building systems, manufacturing systems, medical treatment facilities, and more.

 

The CSC also enables the development of integrated, actionable solutions tailored to customer-specific risk environments. Using advanced network simulation provided by partner SCALABLE Network Technologies, the new Parsons center can replicate SCADA/ICS networks with connectivity to equipment or control systems and fully evaluate cyber effects on them.

 

Driven by the demand for cybersecurity of the increasingly complex systems that control critical infrastructure, the CSC offers customers a means to visualize an attack without threatening actual operations. Its services have broad applications for federal and commercial customers managing critical infrastructure in wastewater sanitization, along with energy transmission and power production.
