[미국] H2O Innovation, 신규 상하수 처리 프로젝트 수주

H2O 이노베이션(H2O Innovation Inc.)은 자사의 워터 테크놀로지 엔 서비스(Water Technologies & Services, WTS) 사업부가 최근 4개의 산업 프로젝트를 포함하여 5개의 새로운 수처리 및 하수 처리 프로젝트를 수주했다고 밝혔다. 총 가치가 550만 캐나다 달러인 이 새로운 계약은 WTS의 백로그를 5천480만 달러로 증가시킨다.

최근에 체결된 첫 번째 계약은 H2O 이노베이션이 데이터 센터 관리를 맡고 있던 기존 고객과 체결된 계약이다. 이 프로젝트에는 2.0 MGD(7천500㎥/일) 규모의 처리 시스템이 포함돼 있으며, 역세척 하수 처리를 위한 2차 UF(1차 초여과) 처리 시스템이 포함돼 있어, 98% 이상의 예외적으로 높은 회수율을 보일 것으로 전망된다. 이 프로젝트는 향후 12개월 내 완료될 것으로 예상된다. 

또한 H2O 이노베이션은 아이오와주와 켄터키주에서 세 개의 다른 산업 프로젝트를 수주했다.  H2O 이노베이션은 두 개의 역삼투압(RO) 시스템과 그린샌드 필터 탱크(greensand filter tanks)를 사용하는 시스템을 제공할 것이다. 이 시스템은 각각 에탄올 공장에서 당 분리 공정에 사용되는 물을 처리하고, 보일러 급수 사용을 위해 금속 추출 공정에서 공정수를 처리하며, 냉각탑의 공급수에서 철 오염물을 제거한다.

마지막으로 H2O 이노베이션은 '물 끓여서 사용하기 권고(boil water advisories)'가 발령된 캐나다 원주민 지역사회에 임시 수처리 시스템의 제공업체로 선정됐다. H2O 이노베이션은 지역사회에 식수를 공급하기 위한 제품 중 하나인 100GPM(545㎥/일) 용량의 컨테이너 시스템을 배치했다.

프레데리크 뒤그레(Frédéric Dugré) H2O Innovation의 사장 겸 CEO는 “수처리 회사로서 원주민 지역사회의 물문제를 해결하고 깨끗한 식수에 대한 접근성 측면에서 주민에게 마음의 평화를 제공하는 것이 중요하다"라며 "당사의 막 여과 기술은 또한 기존 기술보다 더 친환경적이며 많은 양의 화학 물질을 필요로 하지 않는다"라고 말했다. 그는 이어서 "캐나다 전역의 원주민 지역사회를 위해 12개 이상의 상하수처리 시설을 완공한 것을 자랑스럽게 생각하며 오늘날에도 여전히 운영되고 있다”고 덧붙였다.

H2O Innovation Awarded $5.5 M of New Water and Wastewater Treatment Projects

 

H2O Innovation Inc. (“H2O Innovation” or the “Corporation”) is pleased to announce that its Water Technologies & Services (WTS) business line has recently been awarded five new water and wastewater treatment projects, including four industrial projects. These new contracts, with a total value of $5.5 M, increase the WTS backlog to $54.8 M.

The first recent award is with a data center management customer that the Corporation is currently engaged with on existing projects. This repeat customer is located in the Northwest region of the US. The project includes a 2.0 MGD (7,500 m3/day) treatment system with two primary ultrafiltration (UF) trains and one secondary UF train for the treatment of backwash wastewater, which will allow for an exceptionally high recovery of greater than 98%. This new equipment is in line with the customer’s objective to reduce its water footprint and thus become more water positive (Source: IDA). This project is expected to be completed over the next 12 months.

H2O Innovation also won three other industrial projects in the States of Iowa and Kentucky. The Corporation will provide two reverse osmosis (RO) systems and one that uses greensand filter tanks. Respectively, these systems will treat the water used in a sugar separation process at an ethanol plant, treat the process water from a metal extraction procedure for boiler feed water use, and remove the iron fouling from cooling towers’ feeding water.

Finally, the Corporation was selected to provide a temporary water treatment system to an Indigenous community in Canada for which boil water advisories were issued. H2O Innovation deployed one of its assets, a containerized system with a capacity of 100 GPM (545 m3/day), to supply the community with drinking water. “As a water treatment company, it is crucial to address the water issues of our Indigenous communities and provide them peace of mind in terms of accessibility to clean drinking water. Our membrane filtration technologies are also greener for the environment than conventional technologies and do not require a large quantity of chemicals. H2O Innovation is proud to have completed more than a dozen water and wastewater plants for Indigenous communities across Canada that are still in service today,” stated Frédéric Dugré, President and Chief Executive Officer of H2O Innovation.
