멤브레인 기술과 응용 프로그램의 프로모션을 확대를 위한 노력으로, 미국의 멤브레인 기술 협회(American Membrane Technology Association : AMTA)가 WateReuse 협회와 물 환경 연맹(Water Environment Federation : WEF)과 두 가지의 새로운 협력 계약을 체결했다고 발표했다. AMTA와 WateReuse, WEF는 미국 전역에 공급할 수 있는 고품질이면서 풍부한 멤브레인 기술 촉진을 위해 서로의 멤브레인 처리와 관련된 전문기술을 명확하게 제공할 수 있게 됐다.

 

 

 

In an effort to expand the promotion of membrane technologies and applications, the American Membrane Technology Association (AMTA) has announces two new cooperative agreements with the WateReuse Association and the Water Environment Federation (WEF).

 

As all three organizations work with their members to secure plentiful supplies of high-quality, sustainable water across the United States, the new agreements allow AMTA to offer specific expertise related to membrane processes to new and wider audiences within WateReuse and WEF.

 

AMTA recognizes the unique value that WateReuse and WEF bring to their respective memberships, and the collaboration outlined under the memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed with both organizations will further strengthen AMTA's voice and influence in addressing legislative and regulatory challenges within the industry.

 

AMTA also has the opportunity to offer membrane technology and application expertise to the broader WateReuse and WEF audiences that may not yet recognize the cost, productivity and performance benefits of membrane systems. The MOU provides a framework toward these goals and includes:

- Cooperation and collaborative communication nationally and development of communications locally
- Exploration of cooperation on joint programs and projects
- Collaboration on the advancements of membrane technology within the industry

 

Introducing membrane technology to an expanded audience and promoting the advantages of membranes and related systems to the reuse and industrial markets is a real benefit to AMTA members and members of AMTA affiliates. In return, WateReuse and WEF will take advantage of AMTA's expertise and networking connections to strengthen their own technical conferences and programs.
