[미국] 도시바, 상하수도·폐수처리시설에 IoT 적용 착수

 

도시바 아메리카(Toshiba America)가 미국 상하수도 및 폐수처리시설용 IoT 솔루션 팩 소프트웨어 신제품을 출시했다.

실제 머신 데이터의 성능을 활용하는 새로운 IoT 애플리케이션은 이러한 설비에 원격 모니터링과 운영 효율성 향상을 가능하게 한다.

또한 물 및 하·폐수 처리 운영의 현대화 및 최적화를 통해 증가하는 생산 요구와 엄격한 준수 및 보고 요구사항을 충족할 수 있다.

 

도시바 IoT 신규 애플리케이션으로 수처리장은 장비를 연결하고, 센서를 통해 프로세스 데이터와 애플리케이션을 클라우드로 전환할 수 있다.

 

 

올해 4분기에 출시될 이 솔루션은 필수적인 원격 모니터링, 시각화, 분석 및 데이터 수집 기능을 제공할 예정이다.

도시바 IoT 애플리케이션은 빠르고 쉽게 구현할 수 있고 운영자가 다양한 기기를 연결해 프로세스를 개선하고 비용을 절감할 수 있다.

새로운 도시바 IoT 애플리케이션으로 수상 처리 공장은 장비와 프로세스 데이터 및 애플리케이션을 센서, 어댑터를 통해 클라우드에 연결하고 스마트하고 연결된 시설을 만들어 실시간 시각화와 최적화에 가까운 드라이브를 제공할 수 있다.

이 소프트웨어를 구축하면 운영자는 원격 모니터링을 통해 시설 전반의 가시성을 빠르게 확보할 수 있다.

이를 통해 문제가 발생하기 전에 문제를 감지하고 생산성을 향상시키며 비용이 많이 드는 다운타임을 최소화할 수 있다.

Toshiba launches IoT application for wastewater treatment facilities

 

 

The new IoT application, which harnesses the power of real-world machine data, enables remote monitoring and improved operational efficiency for these facilities.

It will also allow for the modernisation and optimistion of water and wastewater treatment operations to meet growing production demands and compliance and reporting requirements that are stricter.

The solution, which will be available in the fourth quarter of this year, will deliver essential remote monitoring, visualisation, analytics and data collection capabilities. 

Toshiba IoT application can be quickly and easily deployed and empowers operators to connect various devices to improve processes and reduce costs.

Toshiba America Business Development and Marketing vice-president Terry Cronin said: “This solution fills an important technology gap for many overburdened water and wastewater treatment facilities?helping them make the leap into IoT technology very quickly with relatively low cost and easy implementation.

With the new Toshiba IoT application, water treatment plants can connect equipment and shift process data and applications to the cloud through sensors, adapters and create smart, connected facilities and drive near real-time visualisation and optimisation.

Once deployed, the software enables operators to gain facility-wide visibility quickly by the way of remote monitoring.

This will enable them to detect issues before they become problems, boost productivity, and minimise costly downtime.
