[미국] 에보쿠아, 텍사스 기반 물 사업 인수

에보쿠아 워터 테크놀러지스(Evoque Water Technologies)는 울트라퓨어 & 인더스트리얼 서비스(Ultraapure & Industrial Services)의 산업용수 사업을 공개되지 않은 금액에 인수했다.

울트라퓨어 & 인더스트리얼 서비스(Ultraapure & Industrial Services)는 드리슨 워터( Driessen Water)의 자회사로 텍사스주 휴스턴과 댈러스에 본사를 두고 있다.

이번 거래로 휴스턴, 댈러스 및 주변 지역 시장에서 에보쿠아의 물사업 서비스 역량이 향상될 것으로 기대된다.

텍사스의 사업장은 정수서비스와 장비에 초점을 맞추고 있으며 의료, 실험실, 전력, 마이크로 전자공학, 식음료, 석유 및 가스, 상업 및 제조 시장에 서비스를 제공하고 있다.

이 회사는 서비스 탈이온, 역삼투, UV, 오존(O3) 등 다양한 물 처리 제품과 서비스를 제공하고 있다.

에보쿠아 워터 테크놀러지스(Evoque Water Technologies)의 론 키팅(Ron Keating) CEO는 "울트라퓨어(Ultrapure)의 물산업 운영은 20년 넘게 신뢰할 수 있는 파트너로 명성을 쌓아 왔으며, 광범위한 고객들에게 안정적인 워터 솔루션과 서비스를 제공하고 있다"라고 말했다.

 론 키팅(Ron Keating) CEO는 이어 "우리는 휴스턴과 달라스 울트라퓨어울트라퓨어(Ultrapure) 팀이 에보쿠아 가족에게 온 것을 환영하게 되어 기쁘다"라고 덧붙였다.

지난 11월에는 물과 하·폐수 처리 장비, 기술, 시스템 등을 공급하는 오비보(Ovivo)가 아라 케미칼 세일즈(Alar Chemical Sales), 아라 엔지니어링 코퍼레이션(Alar Engineering Corporation), 아라 리스(Alar Leseting)로 구성된 아라(ALAR) 사업을 인수했다.

하·폐수 처리 시스템의 직접 제조업체인 아라(ALAR)는 일리노이주 모케나(Mokena)에 기반을 두고 있다.

이와는 별도로 아두라 그룹(Ardurra Group)은 플로리다 소재 엔지니어링 컨설팅 회사인 피죤-로버트 & 어소시에이츠(Pigeon-Roberts & Associates, Pigeon)를 미공개 금액으로 인수했다.

인수된 회사는 주로 물 및 하·폐수 시장에 대한 영업을 하는 지역 기관들을 대상으로 한다. 이번 거래로, 아두라 그룹(Ardurra Group)은 플로리다주의 물 시장에서의 입지를 강화하고 있다.

Evoqua Water Technologies acquires Texas-based water business

Evoqua Water Technologies has acquired Ultrapure & Industrial Services’ industrial water business for an undisclosed amount.

Ultrapure & Industrial Services is a subsidiary of Driessen Water and is based in Houston and Dallas, Texas.

The deal is expected to boost the service capabilities of Evoqua in the markets of Houston and Dallas and the surrounding regions.

 
The operations in Texas focus on water purification services and equipment and serve the healthcare, laboratory, power, microelectronics, food and beverage, oil and gas, commercial, and manufacturing markets. 

The company offers different water treatment products and services such as service deionization, reverse osmosis, UV, and ozonation.

Evoqua CEO Ron Keating said: “For over 20 years, Ultrapure’s industrial operations has built a reputation as a trusted partner, providing reliable water solutions and services to their broad customer portfolio.

“We are delighted to welcome the Houston and Dallas Ultrapure team to the Evoqua family.”

Last month, Ovivo, a provider of water and wastewater treatment equipment, technology and systems, acquired the businesses of ALAR, which consists of Alar Chemical Sales, Alar Engineering Corporation and Alar Leasing.

ALAR, a direct manufacturer of wastewater treatment systems, is based in Mokena, Illinois.

In a separate development, Ardurra Group acquired Florida based engineering consulting firm Pigeon-Roberts & Associates (Pigeon) for an undisclosed sum.

The acquired firm primarily caters to regional agencies with operations on the water and wastewater markets. With this deal, Ardurra Group seeks to bolster its footprint in Florida’s water market.
