LG화학(LG Chem)·LG워터솔루션스(LG Water Solutions)이 개발한 NanoH2O™ 역삼투 멤브레인(Reverse Rsmosis membrane)이 아프리카 사하라 사막 이남 20여개 국가에 공급된다. 사하라 사막 이남 아프리카 국가에 다양한 물 테스트 및 수처리 소모품 포트폴리오를 제공하는 디셀리틱스 워터솔루션(Desalytics Water Solutions)은 LG화학의 역삼투(RO) 멤브레인인 'NanoH2O™'을 공식 파트너로 선정했다.

LG화학·LG워터솔루션스와 디셀리틱스 워터솔루션간의 새로운 협력으로 사하라 사막 이남 20개 국가의 주민들과 기업들은 곧 깨끗한 물을 더 신뢰할 수 있게 이용할 수 있게 됐다. 이번 협약은 디셀리틱스 워터솔루션이 LG화학 ‘NanoH2O™’ 역삼투(RO) 멤브레인 제품의 공식 채널 파트너로 지정해 해수(seawater)와 기수(brackish water) 등을 음용수 및 공정수(process water)로 전환시키는 데 도움을 주고 있다.

운영을 최적화하기 위해 최근 이 지역에서 여러 건의 인수를 완료한 디셀리틱스 워터솔루션은 2022년까지 사하라 사막 이남 20개 국가에 설치될 예정이다. 이 회사는 각국에서 기술에 대한 접근을 개선하여 지역사회와 산업 최종 사용자들을 위해 더 안전한 깨끗한 물 공급을 보장한다.

디셀리틱스 솔루션즈는 LG화학 'NanoH2O™' RO 멤브레인 기술 공급 및 서비스 외에도 추가적인 기술 전문성, 제품 및 지원도 제공할 예정이다.

New partnership ensures reliable access to clean water technology in Sub-Saharan Africa

Residents and businesses in 20 Sub-Saharan countries will soon have more reliable access to clean water, thanks to a new partnership between LG Chem / LG Water Solutions and Desalytics Water Solutions.

The agreement designates Desalytics Water Solutions as official channel partner of LG Chem's NanoH2O™ reverse osmosis (RO) membrane products, which help to turn seawater and brackish water into potable and process water.

Having recently completed several acquisitions in the area to optimize its operations, Desaltyics is set to be present in 20 Sub-Saharan countries by 2022.

The company will improve access to the technology in each country, ensuring a more secure supply of clean water for local communities and industrial end-users.

In additional to supplying and servicing LG Chem's NanoH2O™ RO membrane technologies, Desalytics will also provide further technical expertise, products and support.
