[영국] Evove, Imagine H2O Asia 코호트에 합류

영국의 기술 기업 이보브(Evove)가 새로운 시장 진출의 일환으로 물 혁신 선두주자 이매진 에이치투오 아시아(Imagine H2O Asia)의 3번째 코호트(cohort)로 선정됐다.

12월 8일 이보브의 크리스 와이레스(Chris Wyres) CEO는 이 같은 소식을 전하며 “우리는 파트너와 협력해 아시아 지역에 혁신적인 수처리 솔루션을 제공함으로써 처리하기 어려운 물을 재이용해 고객이 환경에 미치는 영향을 줄일 수 있기를 기대한다”고 밝혔다. 크리스 와이레스 CEO에 따르면, 이보브는 최근 개발한 멤브레인용 그래핀 옥사이드(graphene oxide) 기반 코팅의 검증 성공 이후 새로운 시장 파트너를 물색하고 있다.

이매진 에이치투오 아시아의 니메쉬 모닥(Nimesh Modak) 상무이사는 “이보브가 세 번째 코호트에 선정된 6개국의 12개 스타트업 중 하나임을 발표하게 되어 기쁘게 생각한다”면서 “빠르게 성장하고 점점 더 물에 대한 압박을 받는 이 지역에서 이보브의 솔루션은 산업계에서 처리 시 에너지 사용을 줄이는 동시에 물재이용을 촉진하는 데 도움이 될 수 있다”고 말했다.

그는 이어 “앞으로 몇 개월 동안 Evove 및 나머지 집단과 협력해 우리는 아시아 태평양 전역에서 성장하는 고객 네트워크를 위한 새로운 기회를 열어 혁신을 구현하고 모두를 위한 안전하고 깨끗한 물 및 위생에 대한 보편적인 접근인 SDG 6을 향한 진전을 가속화할 것이다”라고 말했다.

Evove inducted into Imagine H2O Asia cohort

As part of its expansion into new markets, UK technology business Evove has been selected for the 3rd cohort of the water innovation accelerator Imagine H2O Asia.

“We are looking forward to working with partners to deliver transformational water treatment solutions to the region, so that even the most difficult waters can be recycled, valuable resources harvested and our clients can reduce their impact on the environment.”, commented CEO Chris Wyres upon receiving the good news. “We are shifting gear to start a more intense engagement with new market partners after successful industrial validation of our graphene oxide based coating for membranes”, he continued.

Nimesh Modak, Managing Director of Imagine H2O Asia stated, “We are excited to announce that Evove is one of 12 startups from six countries selected for our third cohort.
