블루콘듀이트(BlueConduit)와 심플랩(SimpleLab) 간의 새로운 수질 제휴를 통해 수도 시설 및 엔지니어링 컨설턴트는 보다 비용 효율적이고 효율적인 프로세스를 통해 수질 테스트 요구 사항과 인벤토리 리드 서비스 라인(inventory lead service line)을 충족할 수 있게 되었다.

블루콘듀이트(BlueConduit)의 주요 서비스 라인 재고 관리 기능을 심플랩(SimpleLab) 수질 테스트 기능과 통합함으로써 수도사업자는 이제 필요한 데이터를 수집하고 새로운 미국 연방 및 주의 규칙을 준수하기 위한 규제 보고서를 생성하기 위한 보다 원활하고 자동화된 솔루션에 액세스할 수 있게 되었다.

 

 

식수에 포함된 납(Pb)은 거의 모든 수도시설과 미국 전역의 수백만 가구에 대한 우려 사항d이다. 리드 서비스 라인(lead service line)이 어디에 있는지 정확히 찾아 교체하는 데 수천만 달러의 비용과 몇 년이 걸릴 수 있다.

블루콘듀이트는 가정별 예측 모델을 통해 도시의 주소 및 지역에 대한 순위 목록을 제공하여 리드 서비스 라인을 가질 가능성이 가장 높기 때문에 도시가 불필요한 발굴을 피함으로써 리드를 더 빨리 확보하고 비용을 절약할 수 있다.

심플랩은 납 및 과불화알킬(PFAS ;  polyfluoroalkyl) 화학물질에 대한 미국 최대의 물 테스트 및 데이터 플랫폼이다. 대규모 상업용 테스트 또는 사용자 친화적인 가정용 테스트를 위한 맞춤형 키트는 수도 시설과 엔지니어링 컨설턴트가 중요한 건강 문제를 해결할 수 있도록 보장한다.

블루콘듀이트와 심플랩의 협력은 2021년 말까지 2021년 말까지 예상되는 EPA(미국 환경보호청)의 납 및 구리 규칙의 변경 사항을 준수하는 물 시스템을 지원한다.

A new water quality alliance between BlueConduit and SimpleLab will enable water utilities and engineering consultants to meet their water testing requirements and inventory lead service lines through a more cost-effective and efficient process.

By integrating BlueConduit’s lead service line inventory management capabilities with SimpleLab water testing capabilities, utilities will now have access to a more seamless and automated solution for gathering required data and generating regulatory reports to comply with new federal and state rules.

Lead in drinking water is a concern for virtually every water utility and for millions of households across the U.S. The U.S. EPA estimates there are 6 to 10 million lead service lines in the country. Finding exactly where the lead service lines are and replacing them can cost cities tens of millions of dollars and take years. 

With its home-by-home predictive model, BlueConduit provides cities with a ranked list of addresses and regions of the city with the highest probability of having lead service lines, allowing cities to get the lead out faster and save money by avoiding unnecessary digs.

Its customizable kits, which are for large-scale commercial testing or user-friendly residential home testing, ensure water utilities and engineering consultants address important health issues.

The BlueConduit and SimpleLab collaboration will support water systems in their compliance with changes in the EPA’s Lead and Copper Rule expected by the end of 2021.
