[미국] 발리코 환경서비스, ASI 환경서비스 인수
미 텍사스·아칸소주서 하수처리·물재이용 플랫폼 확장

북미 최대의 하수처리·재이용 서비스 제공업체 발리코 환경 서비스(Valicor Environmental Services, 이하 발리코)는 지난 12월 13일 ASI 환경 서비스(ASI Environmental Services, ASI)를 인수했다고 밝혔다. 이번 인수로 발리코는 텍사스주 하수처리시설 네트워크를 확대하고 아칸소주 시장에 진출 발판을 마련했다.

텍사스주 텍사카나(Texarkana)에 본사를 둔 ASI는 환경에 중점을 둔 하수처리 서비스의 포괄적인 제품군을 제공한다. 회사는 텍사카나에서 1개의 풀 서비스(full-service) 중앙집중식 하·폐수처리(centralized wastewater treatment, CWT) 시설을 운영하고 있으며 텍사스와 아칸소에서 2개의 폐기물 이송 시설을 운영하고 있다.

발리코에 따르면, 이번 ASI 인수로 14개주에서 25개 시설을 운영하며 매년 3억 갤런 이상의 하수를 재이용하게 됐다.

스티브 호퍼(Steve Hopper) 발리코 CEO는 “우리는 텍사스와 아칸소에서 하수처리시설의 선도적인 네트워크를 확장함에 따라 ASI와 협력하게 된 것을 기쁘게 생각한다”면서 “ASI의 재능 있는 팀과 함께 우리는 ASI의 고객에게 더 나은 서비스를 제공하고 기존 발리코 고객을 위한 적용 범위를 확장할 수 있을 것이다”라고 말했다.

Expands Valicor’s Wastewater Treatment and Recycling Platform in Texas and Arkansas

Valicor Environmental Services (“Valicor”), North America’s largest provider of non-hazardous wastewater treatment and recycling services, today announced it has acquired ASI Environmental Services (“ASI”). With this acquisition, Valicor further expands its network of processing facilities in Texas and establishes a foothold in the Arkansas market.

Based in Texarkana, Tex., ASI provides a comprehensive suite of environmentally-focused non-hazardous wastewater treatment services, including wastewater disposal, vacuum truck services and fuel processing services. The Company operates one full-service centralized wastewater treatment (“CWT”) facility in Texarkana and two waste transfer facilities in Texas and Arkansas. With the addition of ASI, Valicor now operates 25 facilities across 14 states and recycles more than 300 million gallons of wastewater annually.
