[미국] 프랭클린 일렉트릭, 지하수 유통사 블레이크 그룹 인수

프랭클린 일렉트릭(Franklin Electric Co., Inc.)은 프랭클린 일렉트릭의 전액 출자 자회사인 헤드워터 컴퍼니스(Headwater Companies, LLC)가 지난 2021년 12월 31일 코네티컷 기업인 블레이크 그룹 홀딩스(Blake Group Holdings, Inc.)를 미화 2천710만 달러(한화 약 321억8천만 원)에 인수했다고 1월 4일 밝혔다.

블레이크 그룹 홀딩스는 미국 북동부 전역에서 14개 지역을 담당하는 전문 지하수 유통업체다. 연간 매출이 약 7천400만 달러에 이른다.

드랜시 데이비스(DeLancey Davis) 헤드워터 컴퍼니스 사장은 “블레이크 그룹을 인수하게 된 것을 기쁘게 생각한다. 블레이크는 40년 이상 펌프 산업 및 관련 수자원 시장에서 활발히 활동해 왔으며 품질 서비스 및 기술적 측면에서 업계 내에서 탁월한 명성을 얻었다. 이번 인수는 지하수 분야 헤드워터 전략을 공고히 하고, 뉴욕 및 뉴잉글랜드 시장에서 사세를 확장하며, 미국에서 물 시스템 솔루션의 선도적인 유통 창구가 되고자 하는 우리 목표를 더욱 발전시키는 계기가 될 것이다”라고 말했다.

Franklin Electric Acquires U.S. Groundwater Distribution Company

Fort Wayne, IN – January 4, 2022 - Franklin Electric Co., Inc. (NASDAQ: FELE) announced today that on December 31, 2021 its wholly owned subsidiary Headwater Companies, LLC acquired Blake Group Holdings, Inc., a Connecticut corporation, for $27.1 million in cash. Blake is a professional groundwater distributor operating fourteen locations throughout the northeast United States. Blake has approximately $74 million of consolidated annual sales.
