[러시아] 아쿠아포린, 가이저와 먹는물 솔루션 제공 협력

덴마크의 물기술 회사 아쿠아포린(Aquaporin)과 러시아 정수기 제조회사 가이저(Geyser)가 최고 품질의 먹는물 솔루션을 제공하기 위해 협력한다.

덴마크의 물기술 회사 아쿠아포린이 가이저(Geyser)에 4만 개의 정수기용 부품을 판매했다고 1월 14일 밝혔다.

이 부품은 아쿠아포린 자체 기술인 Aquaporin Inside® 기술로 식수를 깨끗하게 정화하는 역할을 하며, 가이저가 제조하는 가정용 정수기에 쓰일 예정이다.

아쿠아포린 관계자는 가이저 정수기에 아쿠아포린 기술이 더해져 물 회수율이 더 높아지고 식수를 정화할 때 낭비되는 물이 줄어들 것으로 내다봤다.

4만 개의 정수기용 부품은 Aquaporin Inside® 기술이 적용된 가이저 정수기와 동일한 양을 제공한다.

드미트리 키세레브(Dmitry Kiselev) 가이저 전무이사는 “우리는 솔루션 혁신을 만들어내기 위해 꾸준히 노력하고 있다”면서 “아쿠아포린의 Aquaporin Inside® 기술이 더해져 건강한 생활 방식을 지원하는 새로운 프리미엄 정수 필터를 만들 수 있어 러시아 시장에서 경쟁 우위를 확보할 수 있을 것으로 기대하며, 아쿠아포린과의 향후 발전적인 관계도 기대한다”고 말했다.

지역 환경 컨설턴트에 따르면 깨끗한 먹는물에 대한 러시아 수요는 증가할 것으로 예상된다. 이에 따라 여느 나라와 마찬가지로 러시아의 음용수 정화 시장은 경쟁이 매우 치열하다.

아쿠아포린의 식수 부문 상업이사인 킴 앤더슨(Kim Andersson)에 따르면 아쿠아포린이 가이저와 협력을 시작하게 된 이유가 이 같이 증가하는 먹는물 수요에 대응하기 위해서다.

그는 “가이저가 향후 러시아 내 아쿠아포린의 독점적인 식수 파트너가 되고 Aquaporin Inside®를 기술 및 공동 브랜딩 도구로 사용하는 미래 파트너십의 첫 번째 단계로 보고 있다”고 말했다.

Aquaporin to deliver clean drinking water to Russia in collaboration with Geyser

The Danish water technology company Aquaporin has sold 40,000 drinking water elements to Geyser, Russia’s leading manufacturer in the drinking water filtration segment. The elements will be used in Geyser’s home water purifiers to deliver clean and fresh drinking water purified by the Aquaporin Inside® technology to the Russian population.

The combination of Geyser’s water purifiers and Aquaporin’s drinking water elements ensures a higher water recovery rate, meaning less water goes to waste when purifying drinking water. The 40,000 drinking water elements will provide the equivalent amount of Geyser water purifiers with the Aquaporin Inside® technology.

“We are ambitious at Geyser and continuously strive to develop and improve our solutions. Russia’s demand for clean drinking water is rising

According to local environmental consultants, Russia’s demand for clean drinking water is set to increase. Like in many other countries in the world, the country’s drinking water purification market is very competitive, why the solutions offered to meet the rising demand are required to be particularly innovative and quality-conscious to stand out.

“We have initiated a collaboration with Geyser to meet that demand. We see this as a first step into a future partnership where Geyser will potentially be our exclusive drinking water partner in Russia and use Aquaporin Inside® as both technology and co-branding tool,” says Kim Andersson, Commercial Director, Drinking Water, Aquaporin.

Geyser is expected to receive the drinking water elements at the beginning of 2022.
