[이탈리아] 드 노라, SWCC·IDA 혁신 컨퍼런스 후원

이탈리아의 수처리 업체 드 노라(De Nora)는 SWCC·IDA 혁신 컨퍼런스를 후원한다고 밝혔다.

오는 5월 30일부터 6월 1일까지 3일간 사우디아라비아 제다(Jeddah)에서 열리는 이 회의는 담수화 과학 및 기술의 최신 성과에 초점을 두고 업계 이해관계자 간 아이디어 교환의 장을 제공한다.

캐피탈 컨트롤스(Capital Controls®) 가스 공급 시스템, ISIA 이산화염소 발생기 및 SEACLOR® 해수 전기염소화 시스템을 비롯해 탁월한 정화 솔루션을 공급하기로 유명한 드 노라는 이번 컨퍼런스에서 SWCC와 긴밀히 협력할 예정이다.

드 노라 워터 테크놀로지의 미르카 와일더러(Mirka Wilderer) CEO는 “우리 회사는 중동 시장에서 꽤 오랫동안 선택 받은 파트너로 활동해 왔다”면서 “SWCC와 우리는 수처리의 효율성을 우선시하고 연구개발 과정에 막대한 자원을 투입한다는 공통된 관심을 가지고 있다”고 말했다.

그는 이어 “SWCC IDA 혁신 컨퍼런스를 후원하고 또 다른 지역 사무소를 개설함으로써 이 지역의 기존 관계를 강화할 수 있다”며 “이산화염소 기술의 확장으로 이제 우리는 파트너에게 각각의 고유한 응용 분야에 가장 적합한 처리 기술을 자신 있게 추천할 수 있다”고 말했다.

한편 IDA 혁신 컨퍼런스는 국제 담수화 협회(IDA)와 SWCC가 공동 주최한다. 담수화 과학기술의 최신 성과에 중점을 두고 혁신을 촉진하는 창의적이고 개방적인 토론을 촉진할 것으로 기대된다.

드 노라는 인근 중동 국가인 두바이와 아부다비를 포함해 12개국에 24개의 사무소를 운영하고 있다. 지난 1월 31일에는 사우디아라비아에 새 현지 사무소를 설립한다고 발표했다. 해당 사무소는 올해 말 운영될 예정이다.
