영국의 기술 기업인 Evove는 위스콘신에 기반을 둔 수자원 위원회(The Water Council)의 BREW에 합류했다고 밝혔다. 이 플랫폼은 기업이 북미 시장으로 진출할 기회를 제공하며 기업의 성장과 사업의 확장을 도모한다.

BREW(Business, Research and Entrepreneurship in Water) Accelerator 2.0은 신생 기업이 기업간 관계를 구축하고 기업의 역량을 키울 수 있도록 지원하기 위해 만들어진 차세대 포스트 Accelerator이다. 앤드류 워커(Andrew Walker) Evove의 CMO는 "이 경쟁력있는 플랫폼에서 우리는 정밀 여과 및 분리 기술을 통해 새로운 파트너십, 비즈니스 잠재력 및 시험 기회를 모색할 것이다”라고 말했다.

올해 수자원 위원회는 BREW 2.0을 두 번째로 주최하며, BREW 2.0은 시장에 진출할 준비가 막바지에 이르거나 조기 판매가 가능한 물 기술 스타트업 업체에 중점을 둔 행사이다. 또한, 독일에 본사를 두고 미네소타에 미국 본부가 있는 벡호프 오토메이션(Beckhoff Automation)과 로스앤젤레스에 탈레스 워터 어드바이저스(Thales Water Advisors)가 후원을 받아 진행된다. 탈레스는 BREW 2.0 참가자들에게 전문 지식과 사고 리더십을 제공할 것이며, 특히 시장 진출 전략 및 확장 분야에서 그러할 것이다. 

딘 암하우스(Dean Amhaus) 수자원 위원회의 사장 겸 CEO는 "믿을 수 없을 정도로 활기차고 국제적인 단체이며, Evove가 합류하게 된 것을 기쁘게 생각한다"라며, "선정 위원회는 여과 및 분리의 핵심인 멤브레인의 성능을 크게 향상시킬 것이라는 약속과 함께 시장에 출시하는 제품의 큰 잠재력을 보았다"고 말했다. 이 프로그램은 공식적으로 4월 18일 온라인에서 시작된다.

6월 7일부터 8일까지 밴쿠버에서 블루테크 포럼이 개최될 예정이며, 이 포럼에서는 Evove가 "세계 물 분야에서 가장 똑똑한 인재" 커뮤니티에 합류하여 북미 시장 견인력을 더욱 확립하고 여과 및 더 많은 물 또는 공정 생산물의 재생을 가능하게 하는 막 혁신을 선보일 예정이다.

UK technology business Evove has been successful in its application to join the BREW cohort of Wisconsin-based The Water Council. Platform, will provide scale-up opportunities as company aims to grow in North America

The Business, Research and Entrepreneurship in Water (BREW) Accelerator 2.0 is a next-stage post-accelerator created to help young companies build connections and grow their company’s capacity. When the announcement was made, Evove CMO Andrew Walker said “The Water Council has successfully galvanized business prospects for water technology companies like ours and Evove is thrilled and honoured to have been accepted onto BREW. From this mature platform, we will be seeking new partnerships, business potential and piloting opportunities with our precision filtration and separation technologies.”

This is the second year for The Water Council’s BREW 2.0, which focuses on late-stage water technology startups ready to enter the market or with early sales. The program includes multiple investors Thursday, June 23. BREW 2.0 is sponsored by Beckhoff Automation, based in Germany with U.S. headquarters in Minnesota, and Thales Water Advisors of Los Angeles. Thales will provide expertise and thought leadership for BREW 2.0 participants, particularly in the areas of go-to-market strategy and scaling up. This is the first full BREW cycle for both sponsors.

“This is an incredibly vibrant and international cohort and we are delighted to have Evove on board”, commented Dean Amhaus, President & CEO of The Water Council. “The selection committee saw great potential in the products they are bringing to the market, with the promise of significantly enhancing the performance of membranes which are key in filtration and separation”. The programme officially commences on April 18, online.

June 7-8 sees the BlueTech Forum convene in Vancouver, at which Evove will be joining the community of “the brightest minds in the global water sector” to further establish North American market traction and showcase the membrane innovations that are slashing the energy needed for filtration and enabling more water or process produce to be reclaimed.
