텍사스 물 개발 위원회(Texas Water Development Board, TWDB)는 상하수 및 홍수 프로젝트를 위해 총 5천291만3천408달러의 재정 지원을 승인했다고 밝혔다.

-상수도 시스템 개선을 위해 멜빈(Melvin)시 맥컬로치(McCulloch)카운티에 30만 달러

-수도 공급 프로젝트를 위해 마일즈(Miles)시 런널스(Runnels)카운티에 26만9천608달러

-하수 시스템 개선을 위해 머트존(Mertzon)시 아이리온(Irion)카운티에 461만3천800달러

-배수 개선 프로젝트를 위해 말린(Marlin)시 폴스(Falls) 카운티에 288만달러

-급수 시스템 개선을 위해 라이징 스타(Rising Star)시티 이스트랜드(Eastland) 카운티에 30만 달러

-홍수 관리 프로젝트를 위해 그랜드 설린(Grand Saline)시 반잔트(Van Zandt) 카운티에 55만 달러

-하수 시스템 개선을 위해 에딘버그(Edinburg)시 히달고(Hidalgo) 카운티에 4천400만 달러

TWDB는 수자원 관련 데이터 수집 및 배포, 지역 수자원 및 홍수 계획 지원, 주 수자원 및 홍수 계획 준비를 담당하는 국가 기관이다. TWDB는 급수, 하수 -처리, 홍수 조절 및 농업용수 보존 프로젝트를 위한 비용 효율적인 재정 지원 프로그램을 관리한다.

$300,000 to City of Melvin (McCulloch County) for water system improvements

$269,608 to the City of Miles (Runnels County) for a water supply project

$4,613,800 to the City of Mertzon (Irion County) for wastewater system improvements

$2,880,000 to the City of Marlin (Falls County) for a drainage improvement project

$300,000 to the City of Rising Star (Eastland County) for water system improvements

$550,000 to the City of Grand Saline (Van Zandt County) for a flood management project

$44,000,000 to the City of Edinburg (Hidalgo County) for wastewater system improvements

The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional water and flood planning, and preparing the state water and flood plans. The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood control, and agricultural water conservation projects.
