[인도] L&T 건설, 인도 상하수 인프라 건설 사업 수주

인도 '산업 회랑 개발' 프로젝트의 일환…아시아 개발 은행에서 자금 지원

L&T 건설(Construction)의 상수 및 하수처리시설(Water & Effluent Treatment) 사업은 인도의 대규모 인프라 프로젝트인 첸나이 벵갈루루 산업 회랑(Chennai Bengaluru Industrial Corridor, CBIC) 산하의 투마쿠루 산업 타운십 유한공사(Tumakuru Industrial Township Limited, TITL)로부터 수주를 확보했으며, 아시아 개발 은행(ADB)의 자금 지원을 받는 타밀 나두 정부의 타밀 나두 상하수도 위원회(TWAD Board)로부터 반복 수주를 받았다.

이번 TITL의 주문은 EPC 기반으로 카르나타카(Karnataka)의 투마쿠루 노드(Tumakuru Node)에서 인프라 작업을 설계, 시공, 테스트, 시운전, 운영 및 유지 관리하는 것이다. 작업 범위에는 빗물 배수관과 함께 38km의 도로 설계 및 건설, 교차 배수 구조물, 음용수 및 재이용수 급수 시스템, 하수도 및 하수 수집 네트워크, 가로 등을 포함한 배전 시스템, 7MLD 규모의 수처리시설, 3MLD 규모의 하수처리시설, 2.5MLD 규모의 일반 폐수처리시설, 서비스 저수지와 4년 동안 전체 시스템의 운영 및 유지 관리를 포함하는 통합 지휘통제센터((ICCC)의 건설이 포함된다.

이 프로젝트는 인도 정부가 전국의 모든 산업 회랑의 통합 개발을 감독하는 최고 기관인 국가 산업 회랑 개발 및 구현 신뢰 기관(National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust, NICDIT)에 따른 '산업 회랑 개발' 이라는 주요 프로그램의 일부이다. 이 프로그램은 총 면적 1천750에이커에 달하는 산업, 주거지역, 산업단지, 물류 허브 등을 촉진하기 위해 토지를 개발할 계획이다. 이는 투마쿠루의 80에이커의 그린 커버 개발을 포함한다.

또한 TWAD 이사회의 주문은 코임바토레(Coimbatore)에서 '지하 하수도 계획(Underground Sewerage Scheme, UGSS)' 작업을 제공하는 것이다. 작업 범위에는 하우스 서비스 연결, 하수도 네트워크, 펌프 본관, 도로 복원 작업, 펌핑 및 리프트 스테이션의 구현을 포함해 완료 시 약 3라흐(lakhs)의 인구에게 서비스를 제공한다.

본 기업은 코임바토레에서 유사한 UGSS 프로젝트를 수행하고 있으며, 반복적인 주문은 L&T의 역량에 대한 고객의 신뢰를 강화한다.

L&T Construction awarded (Significant*) contracts for its Water & Effluent Treatment Business

The Water & Effluent Treatment Business of L&T Construction has secured a prestigious order from the Tumakuru Industrial Township Limited (TITL) under the Chennai Bengaluru Industrial Corridor (CBIC) and repeat orders from the Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board (TWAD Board), Government of Tamil Nadu, funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

The order from TITL is to Design, Construct, Test, Commission, Operate & Maintain infrastructure works at the Tumakuru Node, Karnataka on an EPC basis. The scope of work involves design & construction of 38 km of roads along with storm water drains, cross drainage structures, potable & recycled water supply systems, sewerage & effluent collection network, power distribution system including street lighting, 7 MLD water treatment plant, 3 MLD sewerage treatment plant, 2.5 MLD common effluent treatment plant, service reservoirs and Integrated Command & Control Centre (ICCC) building including operation & maintenance of the complete system for a period of four years.

This project is part of the Government of India’s flagship program of ‘Development of Industrial Corridors’ under the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT), the apex body overseeing integrated development of all industrial corridors across the country. The program envisages to develop land to promote industries, residential areas, commercial complexes, logistic hubs etc. covering a total area of 1750 acres.  It also includes green cover development of 80 acres at Tumakuru.

Further, the orders from TWAD Board are to provide ‘Underground Sewerage Scheme (UGSS)’ works at Coimbatore. The scope of work involves implementation of house service connections, sewerage network, pumping main, road restoration works and pumping & lift stations across Vadavalli, Veerakeralam, Kavundampalayam and Thudiyalur areas to serve a population of around 3 lakhs upon completion.

The Business is executing a similar UGSS project in Coimbatore and the repeat orders reinforce Customer’s trust in L&T’s capabilities.
