[미국] 그래디언트, 오만 상하수도 운영 및 유지보수 업체인 MPES 인수

선진 상하수 처리 글로벌 솔루션 업체인 그래디언트(Gradiant)는 지난 3월 21일 오만의 선도적 풀 서비스 및 상하수관리 회사인 머스캣 프로젝트 & 엔지니어링 서비스(Muscat Projects & Engineering Services, MPES)를 인수했다고 밝혔다.

 

선진 상하수 처리 글로벌 솔루션 업체인 그래디언트(Gradiant)는 지난 3월 21일 오만의 선도적 풀 서비스 및 상하수 관리 회사인 머스캣 프로젝트 & 엔지니어링 서비스(Muscat Projects & Engineering Services, MPES)를 인수했다고 밝혔다. 그래디언트는 지난 2월 막 기반 상하수 처리 시스템을 위한 OEM(Original Equipment Manufacturer)업체인 어드밴스드 워터텍(Advanced Watertek)을 인수한 바 있다.

중동 지역의 국가 및 기업은 900년 만에 겪는 가장 극심한 가뭄에 대응하기 위해 새로운 상하수 처리 능력을 구축하면서 물 지속 가능성 목표를 빠르게 이행하고 있다. 또한 증가하는 물수요를 충족시키기 위한 대체 물공급을 모색함으로써 이 지역의 상하수 시장에는 전례 없는 기회가 창출되고 있다. 그래디언트는 MPES 인수를 계기로 O&M 서비스를 통한 SmartOps 시설 성능 최적화 및 자산 관리 기술 구축 등 지역 내 풀 서비스 역량을 확대하고자 한다.

2008년에 설립된 MPES는 하·폐수 및 고형 폐기물 관리를 위한 턴키 솔루션을 제공하며, 상하수 처리 시설의 O&M을 전문으로 한다. MPES는 현재 하수처리공사(Haya Water), 국방부, 석유 개발 공사(Petroleum Development Oman)을 비롯한 주요 고객을 보유한 오만의 주요 하·폐수 관리 회사 중 하나이다.

Gradiant Acquires MPES, a Leading Water and Wastewater Operations & Maintenance Provider in Oman

 

Gradiant, a global solutions provider for advanced water and wastewater treatment, today announced it has acquired Muscat Projects & Engineering Services (MPES), a leading full-service water and wastewater management company in Oman. This announcement follows Gradiant’s acquisition of Advanced Watertek in February, a major original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for membrane-based water and wastewater treatment systems.
