ESAB 코퍼레이션이 첫 번째 지속 가능성 보고서를 발표했다고 밝혔다. 이를 통해 환경, 사회 및 거버넌스(ESG) 목표에 대한 진행 상황을 평가하기 위한 벤치마크를 설정하고, 2030년까지 절대 온실가스(GHG) 배출량을 30% 줄이기 위해 노력한다.

이 첫 번째 지속 가능성 보고서에서 환경 관리에 대한 ESAB의 지속적인 노력, 직원 간의 다양성, 형평성 및 포용성 강화, 지역 사회 내의 봉사 활동, 동급 최고의 기업 구조 유지를 설명한다. 여기에는 전 세계 약 9천명의 ESAB 직원을 위해 직장 내의 건전성과 안전을 지속적으로 개선하려는 회사의 약속과 접근 방식이 포함된다.

ESAB의 첫 번째 지속 가능성 보고서는 △2022년부터 2030년까지 주요 제조 현장에서 절대 글로벌 범위 1 및 범위 2 GHG 배출량을 30% 줄이겠다는 목표 △2022년 기록 가능한 총 사고율 0.49를 포함하여 회사의 업계 최고 안전 기록에 대한 정보 △지속 가능한 제품에 대한 유럽 에코디자인 규정에 명시된 표준을 따르도록 설계된 신제품의 세부 정보 △에너지 효율성을 높일 수 있는 중요한 기회를 제공한 에너지 관리 워크숍의 결과 △오늘날 67% 이상의 여성 또는 인종/민족적으로 다양한 개인들로 구성된 리더십 팀을 포함하여 다양성, 형평성 및 포용성 노력에 대한 요약 등의 내용을 담고 있다.

ESAB Corporation Releases Inaugural Sustainability Report

Commits to 30% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030

 

ESAB Corporation (“ESAB” or “the Company”) (NYSE: ESAB), has published its inaugural sustainability report, establishing benchmarks to evaluate progress on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals and committing to reduce absolute greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions 30% by 2030.

The inaugural sustainability report represents a continuation of ESAB’s commitment to environmental stewardship; enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion among its associates; outreach within its local communities; and maintaining best-in-class corporate governance. It includes the Company’s commitment and approach to continuously improving workplace health and safety for the approximately 9,000 ESAB associates around the world.

· Findings from energy management workshops, which identified significant opportunities for increased energy efficiency.
