[미국] 빅톨릭, 유타주 소재 강·철강 주조업체인 호라이즌 메탈스 인수

대구경 파이프 솔루션 생산 용량 늘려 상수도 시장에서 사업 확장 기대

지난 3월 30일, 세계 최고의 기계 파이프 접합, 화재 방지 및 유량 제어 솔루션 제조업체인 빅톨릭(Victaulic®)이 유타주 네피에 위치한 호라이즌 메탈스(Horizon Metals Inc.)를 인수했다고 밝혔다. 이번 인수는 대구경 파이프 솔루션의 용량을 늘려 인프라 및 상수도 시장에서 회사의 성장을 지원하며, 미국에서 제품을 제조하고자 하는 전략과 일치한다.

빅톨릭은 주조 공장 및 제조 능력을 추가함으로써 북미 고객의 증가하는 수요를 충족시키겠다는 의지를 지속적으로 보여주고 있다. 이번 인수를 통해 빅톨릭은 2011년 이후 북미 지역에서 14만 평방 피트 이상의 주조 공장 및 제조 역량을 갖추게 됐다.

Victaulic® Acquires Horizon Metals Inc.

The newly added foundry will enhance the company’s infrastructure growth

 

On March 30, 2023, Victaulic, the world’s leading manufacturer of mechanical pipe joining, fire protection and flow control solutions, acquired Horizon Metals Inc., located in Nephi, Utah. The acquisition supports the company’s growth in the infrastructure and waterworks market by increasing capacity for large-diameter piping solutions, and is aligned with the strategy to manufacture these products in the United States.

Victaulic continues to demonstrate its commitment to meet the growing needs of its North American customer base by adding foundry and manufacturing capacity. With this acquisition, Victaulic has added over 1.4 million square feet of foundry and manufacturing capacity in North America since 2011.
