[네덜란드] NX 필트레이션, '2023 글로벌 워터 서밋'서 우수상 2개 수상

순수하고 저렴한 물을 위한 혁신적인 직접 나노 여과 기술을 제공하는 글로벌 공급업체인 NX 필트레이션(NX Filteration)은 전 세계 물 산업의 주요 비즈니스 컨퍼런스인 연례행사인 '글로벌 워터 서밋(Global Water Summit)'에서 글로벌 워터 인텔리전스(Global Water Intelligence, GWI)로부터 두 개의 상을 받았다고 밝혔다. 

NX 필트레이션은 2022년 물과 디지털 기술 분야에 가장 큰 기여를 한 기업으로 선정돼 올해의 물기술 기업 부문에서 우수상을 수상했다.

NX 필트레이션은 미량 오염 물질 제거를 위한 기술 전략을 지속했으며, 네덜란드의 KWR과 협력하여 PFAS 보유에 대한 멤브레인을 테스트하여 유망한 결과를 보여주었다는 평을 받았다

물리적 또는 환경적 발자국 최적화 측면에서 가장 큰 혁신을 보여준 올해의 물 프로젝트 부문은 인도네시아 수마트라 섬에 있는 두마이 도시 하·폐수처리시설에 수여됐다. 지역 유틸리티 기업 PDAM 두마이(PDAM Dumai)와 PT Bayu Surya Konstruksi가 위탁한 이 시설은 NX 필트레이션의 직접 나노 여과막(dNF)을 사용해 지역 모스크(Masjid) 강에서 식수를 처리한다.

이 프로젝트는 물에서 색도와 오염 물질을 제거하기 위해 나노 여과를 사용함으로써, 마실 수 없고 잠재적으로 위험한 강물을 깨끗하고 안전한 식수 공급으로 변화시켰으며, 운영 비용 및 에너지 소비를 각각 ㎥당 0.19달러, ㎥당 0.3kWh로 줄인 덕분에 저비용으로 설치 공간을 최소화했다는 평을 받았다.

NX Filtration receives two distinction awards at the Global Water Summit 2023

 

NX Filtration, the global provider of breakthrough direct nanofiltration technology for pure and affordable water, received two important distinction awards from Global Water Intelligence (GWI) at the annual Global Water Summit, the major business conference for the water industry worldwide, with this year’s theme Creating a Climate for Growth.

NX Filtration received a distinction in the category Water Technology Company of the Year, the category for the company which made the most significant contribution to the field of water and digital technology in 2022.

Global Water Awards commentary includes: “NX Filtration last year cemented a truly global reach thanks to a wealth of regional partners that facilitate the distribution of its technology. The company continued its technology strategy towards the elimination of micropollutants, working with KWR in the Netherlands to test its membranes for the retention of PFAS – showing promising results.”

The distinction for Water Project of the Year, for the water project that shows the greatest innovation in terms of optimising its physical or environmental footprint, was awarded to the Dumai City Wastewater Treatment Plant on the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. This plant, commissioned by local utility PDAM Dumai and contracted PT Bayu Surya Konstruksi, uses NX Filtration’s direct nanofiltration membranes to treat water for potable purposes from the local Masjid River.

Global Water Awards commentary includes: “The project stands as a model for a host of countries where coloured water is an issue. By using nanofiltration to remove colour and pollutants from the water, the upgrade turned the river water supply from an undrinkable and potentially dangerous source into a crystal-clear and safe drinking water supply. Reducing opex to just $0.19/m3 and energy consumption to 0.3kWh/m3 made the project a low-cost and low-footprint solution.”
