비즈니스 애플리케이션 보안 및 규정 준수 분야의 선도업체인 오납시스(Onapsis)는 지난 27일 스노호미시 카운티 공공 유틸리티 지구(Snohomish County Public Utility District, SNOPUD)와 파트너십을 맺고 공공 유틸리티 기관에 오납시스 연구소(Onapsis Research Labs, ORL)의 SAP 보안 및 전략 위협 정보를 제공한다고 발표했다.

SNOPUD는 향후 3년간 가정과 기업의 모든 미터기를 개선하는 컨넥트 업(Connect Up) 프로그램을 출시하면서 SAP 보안을 간소화하기 위해 오납시스를 선택했다.

유틸리티 인프라에 대한 사이버 공격의 빈도 및 비용이 증가하고 있으며, 에너지 부문의 데이터 유출로 인한 평균 비용만 472만 달러에 달한다. SAP와 같은 ERP(enterprise resource planning) 애플리케이션은 수익성이 높고 민감한 특성이 있어 위험에 노출될 가능성이 높다.

Onapsis Partners with SNOPUD to Secure Critical SAP Applications, Strengthening its Leadership in the Utilities Sector

Onapsis, the market leader in business application security and compliance, today announced that it has partnered with Snohomish County Public Utility District (SNOPUD) to provide the public utility agency with SAP security and strategic threat intelligence from the Onapsis Research Labs (ORL).

SNOPUD selected Onapsis to streamline its SAP security as it rolls out its Connect Up program, which will upgrade all meters on homes and businesses over the next three years.
