[미국] 맥크로미터, 하치 플로우 제품 라인 인수 발표

세계적으로 인정받는 유량계 제조업체인 맥크로미터(McCrometer, Inc.)는 최근 하치 플로우(Hach Flow) 제품 라인을 인수했다고 발표했다.

하치 플로우는 지자체 고객을 위한 개방형 채널 유량 모니터링에 중점을 둔 제품 및 서비스 제공 업체이다. 이번 인수로 맥크로미터의 포트폴리오가 확장되고 상하수 유량 응용 분야의 엄격한 규정을 충족하기 위해 보다 전체적인 제품군이 구축된다.

하치 플로우 제품 라인의 인수는 지난 1월 하치 플로우에서 맥크로미터로 합류한 브라이언 톰슨(Brian Thompson) 하치 플로우의 통합 리더이자 맥크로미터의 영업 부사장의 감독하에 이뤄진다.

브라이언 톰슨 영업 부사장은 "맥크로미터의 하치 플로우 제품 라인 인수로 전체 제품 개발 로드맵에 대한 연구 개발 투자가 가능해졌다"며 "궁극적으로 솔루션 기반 서비스를 간소화하고 맥크로미터가 지자체 고객을 대신해 혁신을 지속할 수 있도록 지원한다"라고 밝혔다.

하치 플로우는 이미 효율적이고 효과적인 제품 생산을 유지하기 위해 맥크로미터와 계약된 제조업체로서, 하치 플로우의 기존 제품을 계속 생산할 것이다. 신제품 개발을 위해 맥크로미터는 남부 캘리포니아 소재 본사에서 제조 및 연구 개발을 수행할 예정이다.

McCrometer, Inc. Announces Acquisition of Hach Flow Product Line

 

McCrometer, Inc., a globally recognized flow meter manufacturer, recently announced the transfer of the Hach Flow product line from Hach to McCrometer.

Hach Flow is a collection of products and services focused on open-channel flow monitoring for municipal customers. This acquisition expands McCrometer’s municipal flow portfolio and establishes a more holistic product suite to meet the sophisticated needs of drinking water and wastewater flow applications.

The transfer of the Hach Flow product line is overseen by Brian Thompson, the Hach Flow Integration Leader and Vice President of Sales for McCrometer, who joined the company from Hach in January of 2023.

“McCrometer’s acquisition of the Hach Flow product line allows for research and development investment for the overall product development roadmap,” explains Thompson. “Ultimately, it helps streamline our solutions-based services and allows McCrometer to continue to innovate on behalf of our municipal customers.”

Hach will continue to manufacture Hach Flow products as a contracted manufacturer for McCrometer, to maintain already efficient and effective product fulfillment. For new product development, McCrometer will execute research and development as well as manufacturing from its Southern California headquarters.
