폐기물 및 수도 서비스 분야 디지털 순환 솔루션 분야의 선두주자인 수에즈(Suez)는 지난달 27일(현지시간) 에너지 관리 및 자동화의 디지털 전환 업체 슈나이더 일렉트릭(Schneider Electic)과 협력해 에너지 효율화, 자원 보존 및 물 순환 관리 시스템의 탄소 영향 제어를 위한 디지털 솔루션 구축을 가속화한다고 발표했다.

 

2025년까지 전 세계 인구의 약 3분의 2가 물 부족 지역에 거주할 것으로 예상된다. 두 기업은 더 나은 성능과 탄력적인 물 순환 인프라의 배치를 통해 물 부족 문제를 해결할 계획이다.

 

국제 협약에 따라 슈나이더 일렉트릭은 수에즈의 디지털 아쿠아어드밴스드(Aquadvanced) 제품군을 물 순환 관리 소프트웨어인 에코스트럭처 워터 어드바이저(Ecostruxure Water Advisor)에 통합할 예정이다. 아쿠아어드밴스드는 전 세계 공공 및 민간 물 관리 회사에서 10년 이상 배포돼 현재 1천500개 이상의 네트워크를 다루고 있다.

네트워크 및 플랜트 운영자와 수자원 관리 팀을 대상으로 하는 에코스트럭처 워터 어드바이저와 아쿠아어드밴스드의 조합은 시장에서 독보적이다. 이 조합은 혁신적인 인공지능 및 머신 러닝기술을 갖추고 수천 개의 데이터 포인트를 실시간으로 통합·처리해 △누수 및 오염 감지 △홍수 및 가뭄과 같은 극한 기후현상의 영향 제어 △최상의 비용으로 공급 확보 △규정 충족 위한 물 및 폐수 처리 최적화 등 물 순환의 모든 단계에서 수처리 인프라를 확인해 사전에 예방할 수 있다.

 

새로운 제품군은 에너지 사용량을 최대 30%까지 줄이고 무상수량(Non-revenue Water)을 15% 감소해 배출되는 폐수의 양을 절반으로 줄임으로써 환경을 보호할 수 있다. 또한, 운영 비용을 최대 25% 절감할 수 있으며 디지털 트윈 솔루션을 통해 총 소유 비용을 최대 20% 줄일 수 있다.
