첨단 수처리 및 하수처리를 위한 글로벌 솔루션 제공업체인 그라디언트(Gradiant)는 디지털 및 AI 기술을 갖춘 튜링(Turing)을 설립했다고 8월 15일 발표했다.

AI의 선구자 앨런 튜링(Alan Turing)의 이름을 딴 이 새로운 기업은 전체 물 가치사슬(value chain)에서 비용 절감과 지속 가능성을 도출하는 것을 목표로 한다.

튜링의 출시는 물 산업에서 AI 기반 솔루션으로의 시장 전환을 가속화한다. 튜링은 AI 기반 플랫폼, 스마트옵스(SmartOps) 처리장 및 하이드로아이(HydroEye) 유통 네트워크, 을 활용해 고객에게 운영 효율을 제공한다.

튜링의 플랫폼은 이미 포춘(Fortune)지 선정 100대 기업과 대규모 공공시설을 포함한 고객들로부터 채택을 받았다.

튜링은 아쿠알리아(Aqualia), BHP, 엔지(ENGIE), PUB 싱가포르 (PUB Singapore), 리오 틴토(Rio Tinto), 세번 트렌트(Severn Trent), 디텍트로닉(Detectronic) 및 자일럼(Xylem)에 솔루션을 제공했다.

펍 싱가포르(PUB Singapore)가 하수 네트워크를 원격 모니터링하는 것을 도와 하수구 범람, 불법 배출, 하수관 및 터널의 손상을 방지 및 감지함으로써 수백만 달러를 절약했다. 

또한 중동의 엔지(ENGIE) 공장에서 수십만 달러의 비용을 절감하고, 호주의 해수 담수화 프로젝트에서 10% 이상의 에너지를 절감했다.

Gradiant Launches Turing, an Independent End-to-End Digital Solutions Provider for the Water Industry

 

Turing will deliver AI and IoT solutions across water and wastewater treatment and distribution systems.

Gradiant, a global solutions provider for advanced water and wastewater treatment, today announced it has established its digital and AI technology business into a wholly owned independent subsidiary, named Turing.

Named after AI pioneer Alan Turing, this new entity aims to drive substantial cost savings and sustainability outcomes across the entire water value chain.

The launch of Turing underlines a market shift towards AI-driven solutions in the water industry and Gradiant’s commitment to accelerating this transition. Turing’s platform has already achieved significant adoption by customers which include Fortune 100 companies and large public utilities:

• Helped PUB Singapore remotely monitor its wastewater network to save millions of dollars by preventing multiple sewer overflows, detecting incidents of illicit discharge events by real-time monitoring for water quality, and preventing damage to underground sewer pipes and tunnels.

• Created savings of hundreds of thousands of dollars at an ENGIE plant in the Middle East.

• Resulted in more than 10% energy savings for a seawater desalination project in Australia.
