혁신적인 물기술 회사인 부츠포린 A/S(Aquaporin A/S)는 독점 국립수자원청인 PUB와 하·폐수를 정화해 재생수인 뉴워터(NEWater)를 위해 세계를 위해 바이오메트릭 저에너지(biomimetic low -energy) 부츠포린 인사이드(Aquaporin Inside®)를 개발하기 위해 협력하고 있습니다.

아쿠아포린의 총 504개의 CLEAR 지하수 염분제거 역삼투(Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis, BWRO) 모듈이 PUB의 뉴워터(NEWater) 생산시설 중 하나에서 하루 170만 갤런(약 6천400㎥)의 용량으로 구현될 예정이다.

이는 에너지를 절약하고 PUB의 향후 멤브레인 교체 프로젝트 구현을 위한 기술을 검증하는 Aquaporin Inside® 기술의 능력을 입증한다.

아쿠아포린 인사이드(Aquaporin Inside®) CLEAR 제품은 세계 최초이자 생체인식 BWRO 멤브레인을 특징으로 한다.

Aquaporin Inside® 기술은 여과막, 최고의 유입 흐름, 높은 오염 제거 및 신뢰할 수 있는 장기 성능에 대한 생명공학 기반 단백질 수로(biotech-based protein water channels)을 통해 물을 여과하는 자연의 방식에서 영감을 얻었다.

Aquaporin partners with PUB to develop world’s first biomimetic low-energy reverse osmosis membrane demonstration

 

Aquaporin A/S (ticker: AQP) (“Aquaporin” or the “Company”), an innovative water technology company dedicated to rethinking water filtration with biotechnology, today announced that Aquaporin and PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency, are partnering to develop the world's first biomimetic low-energy Aquaporin Inside® membrane demonstration for NEWater.

A total of 504 CLEAR Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis (BWRO) modules from Aquaporin will be implemented at one of PUB’s NEWater production facilities, with a capacity of 1.7 million imperial gallons per day. 

This will demonstrate the Aquaporin Inside® technology's ability to save energy and validate the technology for implementation in PUB's future membrane replacement projects.
