PFAS 처리를 위한 선도적인 솔루션 제공업체인 에퀴어스 벳(Aqueous Vets®, AV®)은 지하수에서 PFAS, 비소 및 기타 신규 오염물질(other contaminants of emerging concern, CECs)을 제거하도록 설계된 수처리 카트리지 시스템을 출시했다고 밝혔다. 플러그 앤 플레이 시스템(plug-and-play system)은 분당 5~400갤런(gpm)의 유량을 처리하고 설치, 운영 및 유지 관리가 용이하며, 자본 지출을 없애기 위한 임대 옵션을 제공하기 때문에 자본 자금이 부족한 지역사회에 특히 매력적인 대안이다.

AV의 새로운 NSF 인증 모듈형 제품군은 처리 목표를 달성하기 위해 특정 필터를 선택함으로써 유량을 증가시키거나 여러 오염물질을 처리할 수 있는 유연성을 제공한다. 또한 이러한 시스템은 편리한 처리 시스템을 통해 책임감 있고 인증된 매체 처리를 통해 장기적인 폐기물 문제를 해결한다.

AV는 오렌지 카운티 워터 디스트릭트(Orange County Water District, OCWD)와의 협력으로 잘 알려져 있으며, OCWD는 국내 최대 PFAS 처리 시스템인 요바린다 워터디스트릭트(Yorba Linda Water District, 25 MGD)를 포함해 국내 최대 PFAS 이니셔티브를 개발했다. Aqueous Vets® Expands PFAS, CEC Treatment Capabilities

Innovative treatment systems for low flow applications empower utilities with operational independence

 

Aqueous Vets® (AV®), a leading solutions provider for PFAS treatment, today launched its latest offering, a water treatment cartridge system designed to remove PFAS, arsenic, and other contaminants of emerging concern (CECs) from groundwater. The plug-and-play system treats flows from 5-400 gallons per minute (gpm), is easy to install, operate and maintain, and offers leasing options to eliminate capital expenditures – a particularly attractive alternative for communities lacking capital funding.

“Upcoming PFAS regulations will be challenging, expensive, and a drain on the resources of all water systems, particularly those in small or underserved communities,” said Rob Craw, AV President and CEO. “With this new product line, AV expands its Concept to Commission commitment and can now provide treatment options that address the complete range of flow applications and capacities, from the smallest, rural 10-gpm plant to the largest utilities requiring 30 million gallons per day (MGD) or more. AV’s new NSF Certified modular product line offers the flexibility of increasing flows or treating multiple contaminates by selecting the specific filter to meet treatment goals.
