획기적인 여과 기술을 제공하는 글로벌 기업인 NX필트레이션(NX Filtration)은 공정 최적화와 지속 가능성에 중점을 두고 있는 유럽 최대 양조장 중 하나인 덴마크 소재 칼스버그(Carlsberg) 프레데리시아(Fredericia) 양조장에 막을 공급한다고 밝혔다. NX필트레이션의 정밀 여과막은 칼스버그의 주력 양조장의 성능과 지속 향상에 일조하고 있다.

NX필트레이션은 전 세계적으로 맥주 산업에 중공사(hollow fiber) 미세여과막을 공급하는 몇 안 되는 공급업체 중 하나이다. 정밀여과는 더 높고 더 일정한 품질, 더 낮은 에너지 사용, 지속적인 작동 가능성 및 환경 영향 방지로 인해 전통적인 여과 방법(규조토)에 대한 우수한 대안을 제공한다.

NX필트레이션은 칼스버그의 프레데리시아 양조장에 맥주 여과 공정을 더욱 최적화하기 위해 정밀 여과 모듈을 제공했다. NX필트레이션의 막 모듈은 견고성, 에너지 및 화학물질 소비, 비용, 작동성 및 취급 측면에서 최고의 품질과 고유한 특성을 제공한다.

피터 라스무센(Peter Rasmussen) 칼스버그 생산 관리자는 “NX필트레이션의 맥주 여과막은 여과 가동 시간을 50% 이상 늘리고 에너지, 화학 물질 및 물 소비를 크게 줄였다. 이는 비용을 절감할 뿐만 아니라 2030년까지 물 낭비를 없애겠다는 칼스버그의 목표에도 기여하고 있다”고 말했다.

이 프로젝트를 위해 NX필트레이션은 양조 업계에서 수십 년의 경험을 보유한 덴마크 전문가인 NS필트레이션(NS Filtration)과 파트너십을 맺었다. NS필트레이션은 칼스버그의 프레데리시아 양조장에 모듈을 설치하고 현지 운영 서비스 및 지원을 제공할 계획이다.

NX Filtration supplies beer filtration membranes to Carlsberg Fredericia in Denmark

 

NX Filtration, the global provider of breakthrough filtration technology, supplied its membranes to Carlsberg’s Fredericia brewery in Denmark, one of the largest breweries in Europe, that has a strong focus on process optimization and sustainability. NX Filtration’s microfiltration membranes are being used to further improve performance and sustainability of Carlsberg’s flagship brewery.

NX Filtration is amongst the few suppliers of hollow fiber microfiltration membranes to the beer industry globally. Microfiltration offers a superior alternative for traditional filtration method (diatomaceous earth) because of its higher and more constant quality, lower energy use, the possibility of continuous operation and the avoidance of environmental impact.

For Carlsberg’s Fredericia brewery, NX Filtration supplied its microfiltration modules to further optimize the beer filtration process in the brewery. NX Filtration’s membrane modules offer the highest quality and unique characteristics in terms of robustness, energy and chemical consumption, costs, and operability and handling.

Peter Rasmussen, Production Manager at Carlsberg, comments:

“The beer filtration membranes of NX Filtration increased our filtration uptime by more than 50%, and also significantly reduced the consumption of energy, chemicals and water. This not only reduces costs but is also contributing to our goal to have zero water waste by 2030.”

For this project, NX Filtration partnered with NS Filtration, a Danish specialist with decades of experience in the brewing industry, that installed the modules at Carlsberg’s Fredericia brewery and will provide local operational service and support.
