[미국] AECOM, WIFIA 자금 확보 힘써…미국 물 프로젝트 납품 고객 지원

세계에서 신뢰받는 인프라 컨설팅 회사인 AECOM(NYSE: ACM)은 최근 75억 달러의 규모의 물 인프라 금융 및 혁신법(WIFIA) 자금을 활용하기 위해 미국 전역의 고객과 협력하고 있다고 발표했다. 

회사의 WIFIA 자금 지원 고객의 업무는 식수, 가뭄 및 위험 탄력성, 폐수 프로젝트 등을 포함한다.

AECOM의 WIFIA 자금 지원 프로젝트는 피츠버그 상하수도 당국이 노후화된 물 인프라를 업그레이드하고 교체하여 안전한 식수를 보장할 수 있도록 돕는 것, 노후화된 인프라, 시스템 신뢰성 및 기후 변화와 같은 문제를 해결하기 위해 샌프란시스코 공공 유틸리티 위원회와 협력하여 폐수 자본 개선 프로그램을 제공하고, 뉴저지 전역의 천만 명 이상의 사람들에게 서비스를 제공하는 폐수 및 식수 시스템을 현대화하는 뉴저지 인프라 은행을 지원한다.
