토크(Tork)는 11월 17일(현지시각) 미국 네바다주 라스베가스에서 열린 전세계 위생 산업의 정보, 교육, 혁신, 네트워크 및 상업적 기회를 위한 'ISSA 북미 2023 전시회(International Sanitary Supply Association Show North America 2023)'에 전시됐다고 발표했다. 이 전시회에서 토크는 수준 높은 위생 상태를 충족하고 비즈니스 성과를 최적화하기 위해 영감을 주는 제품과 솔루션을 선보였다.

토크 탄소중립 디스펜서(Tork Carbon Neutral Dispensers)는 위생·세정 산업의 최신 발전을 인정하는 프로그램인 ISSA 혁신상(ISSA Innovation Awards) 후보에 올랐으며, 환경·지속가능성상 수상자로 선정됐다. 

2023년 10월 기준, 미국 내 기존 토크 프랜드의 혁신적인 디스펜서 중 일부 제품군이 탄소 중립 인증을 받았다. 토크는 재생 가능한 전기를 생산에 사용해 탄소 배출량을 감축했으며, 기후 파트너(Climate Partner)와 함께 검증된 기후 프로젝트 투자를 통해 남은 탄소 배출량을 상쇄했다. 선별된 프로젝트는 △캄보디아에 깨끗한 식수 공급 △인도에 에너지 효율적인 쿡스토브(Cookstoves) 제공 △인도네시아에 산림 보호 지원 등을 통해 탄소 배출량을 감축한다.

이 전시회에서 토크는 토크 비전 클리닝(Tork Vision Cleaning), 토크 카운터 마운트 솝 시스템(Tork Counter Mount Soap System), 토크 피크서브(Tork PeakServe) 디스펜서 등 광범위한 제품과 솔루션을 선보였다. 전시회 참가자는 위생 솔루션에 대해 배울 수 있도록 도와주는 대화형 챌린지인 토크 오피스 컴플레인츠 미니마이저(Tork Office Complaints Minimizer)와 손 위생 교육을 위해 설계된 가상현실(VR) 헤드셋 지원 게임인 토크 VR 핸즈 트레이닝 에듀케이션(Tork VR Clean Hands Training and Education) 등을 체험했다.

Tork showcases sustainable hygiene innovations at ISSA Show North America 2023

Tork carbon neutral dispensers earn ISSA Environment & Sustainability Award honoree

 

Philadelphia, PA. – This week, Tork, an Essity brand, exhibited at ISSA Show North America 2023, the leading resource for information, education, innovation, networking, and commercial opportunities within the worldwide cleaning industry, in Las Vegas. At the show, Tork showcased its products and solutions that inspire leaders to think ahead to meet the highest hygiene expectations and optimize their business performance.

Tork carbon neutral dispensers were nominated for the ISSA Innovation Awards, a program recognizing the latest advancements in the cleaning industry, and were recognized as an honoree for the Environment & Sustainability Award. As of October 2023, a select range of existing Tork brand innovative dispensers in North America are carbon neutral certified. Carbon emissions have already been reduced by using purchased renewable electricity in the production, and the remaining carbon emissions are offset through investments in verified credits from climate projects with ClimatePartner. The selected projects reduce carbon emissions by supplying clean drinking water in Cambodia, providing energy efficient cookstoves in India, and supporting forest protection in Indonesia.
