[미국] 배저미터, 전자식 유량계 ModMAG® M2000 MCERTS 인증 획득

MCERTS, 유틸리티 및 산업 환경과 특정 규모 이상 모든 기관 하·폐수 응용 분야서 공인된 표준

배저미터(Badger Meter, Inc.)는 M2000 전자식 유량계가 포괄적인 실험실 및 현장 테스트 통해 성능을 입증했으며, 공식적으로 배저미터 제품군 중 MCERTS(Monitoring Certification Scheme For Equipment) 인증을 받은 첫 번째 제품이라고 발표했다. 

영국 환경청(UK Environment Agency)은 품질 요구사항에 따라 환경 측정이 이루어질 수 있도록 하는 동시에 거래 및 하수 방류수와 같은 액체 흐름을 안전하게 모니터링할 수 있는 프레임워크를 제공하기 위해 모니터링 인증 제도(MCERTS)를 도입했다. 이 제도를 통해 관련 CEN, ISO 및 국가 표준에 기반한 환경청의 성능 표준을 준수하는 장비를 인증할 수 있다.

MCERTS는 유틸리티 및 산업 환경과 특정 규모 이상의 모든 기관에서 하·폐수 응용 분야에서 공인된 표준이 됐으며, 하천, 바다 또는 공공 하수도로 방류수를 방류하는 특정 규모 이상의 기관에서는 MCERTS 승인 미터가 있어야 하며, 이들이 방류하는 하·폐수의 양을 모니터링해야 한다. 규정 준수는 액체 및 방류수 흐름 측정에 관련된 모든 사람이 동일한 매개 변수 내에서 작업하고 환경 기관에 정확한 데이터를 제공하는 동시에 미래의 강과 바다의 건강과 안전을 보장토록 한다.

M2000은 이러한 표준을 충족하는 것으로 입증됐으며 이제 영국 내 하·폐수 애플리케이션에 대해 지정될 수 있다. 즉, 새로운 세대의 고객은 유량 및 수질 분야에서 배저미터의 혁신적이고 최고 수준의 솔루션을 통해 혜택을 받을 수 있으며, 이를 통해 전 세계 상수도의 지속 가능한 사용을 보호하고 촉진하면서 운영을 최적화할 수 있다.

ModMAG® M2000 Electromagnetic Flow Meter MCERTS Certified

Badger Meter announces that the ModMAG® M2000 electromagnetic flow meter is now MCERTS certified.

 

Badger Meter, Inc. (NYSE: BMI) announced that the M2000 Flow Meter has been put through its paces in a comprehensive set of laboratory and field tests and is officially the first member of the Badger Meter family to receive MCERTS certification.

The UK Environment Agency created the Monitoring Certification Scheme (MCERTS) to ensure that environmental measurements can be made in accordance with their quality requirements whilst also providing the framework for the safe monitoring of liquid flow such as trade and sewage effluent.  The scheme allows for the certification of equipment complying to The Environment Agency’s performance standards, which are based on relevant CEN, ISO and National standards.

MCERTS have quickly become a recognised standard within wastewater applications for both utilities and industrial settings and any organisation over a certain size which releases effluent into a river, the sea or a public sewer must have MCERTS approved meters and is required to monitor the volume of wastewater they discharge. Compliance ensures that everyone involved in the measurement of liquid and effluent flow is working within the same parameters and providing accurate data to the Environment agency, whilst futureproofing the health and safety of our rivers and oceans.

The M2000 has been proven to meet these standards and can now be specified for waste water applications within the UK, meaning that a new generation of customers can benefit from our innovative and class-leading solutions in flow and water quality, enabling the optimization of their operations whilst protecting and promoting sustainable use of the world’s water supply.
