Further departures at Pall’s water business

A third senior executive has joined the exodus from Pall Corporation, raising further questions about the direction and future of the company’s water business.
Tom Poschmann, Pall’s current senior vice president for water processing sales, confirmed to GWI that he will be “transitioning out” after a tenure of almost 25 years. He will be replaced by Dave Horton, former global sales operations director for Siemens Water Technologies.
Poschmann is the third veteran water executive to be let go at Pall in the past two months. Former water division president Jeff Seibert and former global technical director Anthony Wachinski left the company in early May.
Pall is also understood to be trimming down its water-focused sales force. Speaking to GWI in May, Pall general manager of process systems Mitch Summerfield ? another former Siemens executive ? would not comment in detail about why the changes are being made.
