독일의 큰 화학회사인 BASF는 프랑스 리옹(Lyon)에 본부를 둔 자회사인 Industrial Water Management France SAS를 Suez Environnement의 자회사인 Degremont에 매각하는 거래를 성공적을 마무리했다고 2013년 9월 30일 발표했다.
Degremont는 서비스 중심의 산용용수 관리사업을 더욱 확충하고자 할 것이며, BASF의 이전 직원들에게 장기적인 전망에 관해 알려 줄 것이다.

BASF industrial water business transfered to Degrémont
German chemical giant BASF announced on 30 September 2013 the successful closing of the transaction to divest its subsidiary Industrial Water Management France SAS, headquartered in Lyon, France, to Degrémont, a subsidiary of Suez Environnement.
Degrémont will look to further expand the service-oriented industrial water management business and give the ex-BASF employees a long-term perspective.
BASF's Water Solutions business remains focused on offering a comprehensive range of water treatment chemicals and membrane filtration technology for the industrial and municipal waste water treatment sector,
"We continue to create chemistry that is tailored to our water industry customers," said Matthias Halusa, vice president of BASF's Water Solutions business.
