| [중국] 펌프시장, 2018년에 140억 달러 규모로 3배 성장 전망
TechSci Research사의 연구보고에 의하면, 중국내 펌프시장은 2012년 52억달러에서 2018년에 140억달러로 3배 성장할 전망이다.
중국내의 청정수 자원은 2000∼2009년 사이에 13% 감소했다. 이러한 가용 청정수 자원의 감소 및 수요의 급격한 증가로 펌프의 매출이 증가되는 요인이 되고 있다.
한편 중국내 물 배송 라인이 노후화되어 상당한 양의 파손이 발생, 즉 남부지역은 강우량 및 겨울철 눈 녹음으로 인한 물이 80% 정도 이용되고 있다. 반면, 북부 및 서부지역은 겨우 20%만 이용되고 있는 실정이다.
또한 중국내 새로운 발전소 건설이 2030년까지 대규모 투자되는 계획에 따라 수처리용 펌프 시장의 급격한 성장이 이루어질 것으로 예상된다.

China’s water pump market to increase threefold by 2018
A recent TechSci Research report entitled "China Water Pumps Market Forecast & Opportunities, 2018," predicts that the water pumps market revenues of China will grow threefold from 5.2 billion in 2012 to around 14 billion in 2018, according to a press release on Digital Journal.
The fresh water resources in China declined by 13 percent between 2000 and 2009; this declining groundwater level combined with rising water demand is boosting the water pump market in the country, the release reported.
According to the release, water distribution is highly fragmented in China, with the southern region receiving 80 percent of the rainfall and snowmelt while the northern and western regions receive only 20 percent.
China's plans to invest trillions in new power plants by 2030 will also contribute to water pump market growth, the release noted.
