이 프로젝트는 저장 탱크와 펌프장, 댐, 저수지, 취수 구조, 지역 관로로 전송 등을 포함해, 새로운 물 공급 처리플랜트를 구축하는 것이다.

Sri Lanka to receive integrated water supply program
The island country of Sri Lanka will soon receive an integrated water supply program for the city of Badulla and surrounding communities of Ella and Haliela.
Designed and completed by Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEK), a provider of consulting, engineering, construction and technical services, the project will include the completion of a new water supply treatment plant including storage tanks, pumping stations, a dam and impoundment reservoir, water intake structures, and transmission and distribution pipelines for the region.
On Wednesday, Dec. 18, Tetra announced it has been awarded a $74 million contract principally financed by the United States Export-Import bank for the Sri Lanka National Water Supply and Drainage Board to carry out the project. The company will also rehabilitate two existing treatment plants during the three and one-half year contract period.
Dan Batrack, Tetra Tech's chairman and CEO, said, "Once in place, the water supply system will help the government of Sri Lanka to realize its objective of providing safe drinking water to 85 percent of the population, in line with the United Nations Millennium Development goals."
