Flow monitoring project to conclude in city of Fort Smith
At the end of August, a major four-month flow monitoring project, conducted by RJN Group, Inc. (RJN), is set to conclude for the city of Fort Smith, Ark.
The goal of the project was for RJN to gather current information for peaking factors and understand which basins in the northern most sections of the city are exhibiting the highest inflow/infiltration (I/I) rates.
Flow and rainfall monitoring took place for 60 days using 11 flow meters and three rain gauges. RJN performed a complete data analysis for dry- and wet-weather, inflow, infiltration and volumetric analysis.
Throughout the years, RJN has completed several flow monitoring projects for the city of Fort Smith.
